My interest in findagrave started when I worked on a family tree for my husband. We found some of his relatives and where they are buried through this site. It was comforting to look at their headstones and imagine what life was like for them more than 200 years ago.|
I would like to thank all the volunteers for their time and effort in photographing and documenting the grave sites. I was so impressed with their work that now I am a volunteer and I enjoy spending my free time at the cemeteries documenting headstones of which some, unfortunetly, will be totaly unreadable in a few years.
In photographing cemeteries I noticed some of the older, hard to read headstones have been scratched to try and make out a name or date. I DO NOT alter the headstones in any way, instead, I take several photos from different angels to try to read them.
If you find any mistakes, please contact me. I am not perfect and do make mistakes and when they are pointed out to me I gladly make the correction.
Any photo from a cemetery that I've posted at Find-A-Grave may be used for family trees, personal use, etc.

Beg pardon -- just enlarged the photo, found your comments, and that explained almost everything, plus giving me info for her sister Ruth, brother George, and parents! Thank you!

Would you please tell me in which cemetery you found Gladys? I've been looking all around Mobile for her.

Your are so nice. Thank you for transferring them. Just in the last few days I realized I could ask to maintain my close relatives when I realized someone had posted my mother and father's graves. I should have but wasn't sure how to do it, so I have learned a lot in the last week! I thought it would be nice to link the family together as I searched on them I found many were not linked. Thank you again for posting them initially and the transfer. Sincerely, Claire

Hello Monica, Thank you for posting the graves of my Grandmother and Uncle and little cousin. Would you be willing to transfer them to me? I have many other relatives I would like to link them all too. I am very new at this and would understand if you hesitated. I would sincerely appreciate the transfer of:

so this was great getting to see them.
Thanks Edith Lieuallen
