Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy for a number of years. I started when my father got ill with brain cancer. It became important to locate our family. I was able to give him a book on his family before his death. I became hooked so carried on From my own family of Shepherd, Hayes, Fry, Dubel, Harrington, Yancey, Grebner, Weisz, Weyer etc. to others like Ridgway, Hawkins

RE: Ziegler / Weisz
The Weisz surname appears many times in my family tree but always as a first, second or third cousin. My direction connection would be to the Zieglers. My 2X great grandmother was Karolina "Dorothea" Ziegler Friederich (married to Friedrich "Johann"). She was the daughter of Adam D. Ziegler and Anna Maria Katharina Tramnitzke or Dramnitzke (my 3X great grandparents). Adam's parents (my 4X great grandparents) were Johann Georg Ziegler and Christine Maier. Johann's mother my 5X great grandmother) was Anna Maria Rompel.

Thank you for your response. I decided to go ahead and enter my information- Its taken me about 6
years to get all of these Hunters straight. Alot
get quite upset. I also do not enter any info
without proper citations. Years ago I worked in
a Vital Stats Dept on a State Level - we are human and make errors. Sometimes on a delay-birth record
it was done years after the fact so the person could
received Social Security Benefits. When my grandmother who was a Hunter-my father a twin and
his brother were delivered by a midwife named Hunter. Then her sister and her niece all were
delayed birth certs. (1st hand knowledge).

RE: Ziegler / Weisz
Yes - my grandmother was Viola Anna Dorothea Friederich (William Bennett Means). Her parents [my gret grandparents] were August Friederich and Hazel Wilmon. Her grandparents [my 2X great grandparents] were Friederich "Johann" Friederich and Karolina "Dorothea" Ziegler. Johann's parents [my 3X great grandparents] were Philipp Friederich, Sr. and Regina Flaig. Dorothea's parents [also my 3X great grandparents] were Adam D. Ziegler and Anna Tramnitzke (or Dramnitzke). Most of the Zieglers and Weiszes would be aunts, uncles and cousins. Hope this answers your question.

RE: SD Memorial
Yes, I had more in the end than she did, I was rude and I was copypasting, Beth does very little, so can't get in trouble! She only does the basics and mostly BHNC, I do some and transfer to her to manage to.
