|First a big THANK YOU to all the Find-A-Grave volunteers and the folks who keep it running!|
Thanks to my Auntie A I got hooked on genealogy. Her 50+ years of research added to my own 20 years we've sorted out a lot of facts from fiction and put flesh on the bones of our ancestors.
Researching the following: Bottom, Russell, Laws/Lawes, Carpenter, Utterback, Godkin, Krebeck; Wynn; Mills; Hanks, and too many more to add here!
If I can be of help in any of the above, please feel free to ask, after all, sharing is one of the best parts of genealogy!

|Jeff Godbey||Thank you!!|
Thanks for all the quick edits and links!! I sent several more today, as well, along with adding some grave and portrait pictures. Thanks so much.
|Jeff Godbey||Walker transfers?|
You seem to have most of the Walkers I have been researching and are linked to. Would it be easier to transfer the memorials to me rather than making all the edits? I would gladly transfer them back to you once finished if you'd prefer that. My great grandmother was Katherine Kent Walker Godbey. I am trying to link all the Walkers I can from Alexander (Memorial# 58902704). I hope to one day contribute as much as you and so many others do on here!!
#27565219 glen charles and honor were my grand parents
|Jeff Godbey||Requests for Charlotte Walker|
Hello again:) I sent some edits link requests for Charlotte and created a memorial for her husband Robert Walker. (They were second cousins) I also posted their tombstone pictures. Her birth year comes from a family bible that I have along with the death certificate I found at ancestry.com Thanks for your consideration in this.
|Jeff Godbey||Requests for Andrew Jackson Walker|
Hello:) I sent an edit request and links for Andrew Jackson Walker. Thanks for the other edit and considering these too!

Dee, Happy to assist...
I am sorta lucky ( I guess ),, work gets me in the strangest places sometimes... but tell you what,, I am always happy to set foot on US soil.. Really makes me appreciate what these soldiers gave up to give us what many seem to take for granted.... Should be a required curriculum for the young to research a 100 of these American Hero's paperwork, field reports... real eye opener..

|Tess Beshara||Nancy Quick|
I find that on the death certificate William Quick Sr and Elizabeth Jennings are listed as her parents not William and Mary. I do not think that Nancy and Victoria were sisters. Victoria is in the 1870 household of William and Elizabeth Quick as a very young child as you pointed out (also note that there is a very young Isham)...but, in the 1880 census she is listed as a granddaughter in that household. I think it points that she is the daughter of Wm C Quick Jr and Mary E Virginia "Jennie" Yager Quick. In the 1900 census Nancy is listed as head of household with one child and that appears to be Victoria...there are two young Quicks in that census a Viola and Ethel...I would venture to believe they are the daughters of Victoria. Thus I understand the importance of sourcing. Do you have access to the death certificate for Victoria?

|Tess Beshara||Yager, Quick, Simons Families|
OOPS! i am sorry my last message came as a blank. I would really like to try and sort out the above mentioned families. I have done lots of research on them because of the father Edward Yager. He was married first to Mary Green and had three children. His second marriage was to Sallie Ann Smith and they had five children. It is through his second marriage to Sallie that my family is related. A duplicate of your Jennie Yager Quick was transferred to me. I will transfer it to you because I would like to not have duplicates. There are some other duplicates that you have and I think that you may have them because James is inactive. Is there anyway to get the duplicates gone. Thanks, Tess
