My family are original Oregon Pioneers who homesteaded on Dixie Mtn. in 1851 prior to Oregon becoming a State. They came from Scotland with great hopes and dreams. They had a hard life in their efforts to make their land workable and sustainable. I have great pride in my ancestors and their accomplishments which they have passed down through the generations.
