Bio

I have been drawn to cemeteries as far back as I can remember. I find them interesting places, a mixture of sadness and remembrance that uplifts me and reminds me of how fragile life is. My oldest son Jessie shares my love of graveyards.

Right now I'm more focused on doing photography of cemeteries and headstones, unless there is a particular cemetery near me that isn't documented here. Most of the pictures I take and/or any interments I post will most likely NOT be relatives, since very few of my family live or lived where I am. I hope to change that and post a few of the interments of people I am related to (Hubbard s in the NC sand hills area to start, and Luptons and Morris's in the coastal area of NC).

I am a mom to three living sons and two deceased daughters. I have a personal memorial dedicated to my two precious girls. (website is listed in profile)
