|Hi, my name is Gordon Philbin.|
I love history and giving actors and people that were part of history on my FindAGrave page.
I just started today and I do hope people comment on my people I have listed.
When I am older, I plan to go to Hollywood and become an actor and director.

|tabbycatsrock||Kenneth Mars year of birth|
Kenneth Mars was actually born in 1935, not 1936.
|Juliaom||Gen James O'Hara|
Guess there are at least two General James O'Hara's. The one I referenced is not the father of the Gen Charles O'Hara who died 25 Feb 1802 of your Memorial.
General James O'Hara, born Ireland ca 1752, immigrated to America, arriving in Philadelphia in 1772. He was appointed an Indian Agent at Ft. Pitt, PA. He married Mary Carson, dau of William Carson, they had three sons, William Carson, James, and Charles, who all died before their father James, who died on 21 Dec 1819. He had a son Richard who outlived him, and was the father of Mary Carson (writer), wife of Wm. Darlington.
Source Egle's Pennsylvania Genealogies, pg 546, and Ft. Pitt, Letters from the Frontier, by Mary C. O'Hara Darlington.
I believe he had at least one daughter, cannot find that in file. She married well.
Also Colonial and Revolutionary Families, Vol 2, pg 883 gives death date of Gen. James O'Hara.
Everything I have been reading concurs that your Gen. Charles O'Hara was "illegitimate son of Gen. James O'Hara (the British one).

Might I have your Source documentation for the "Illegitimate Son" of Gen James O'Hara?
Is this the Ft. Pitt, PA General James O'Hara who served as Quartermaster under George Washington in the Rev. War.
