|Becky Eggers Jones||RE: Cyrus S Spradling - Civil War|
I know nothing about providing a headstone for my Civil War GG Grandfather. Cyrus was a wounded hero for the North and eventually died as a result of those wounds in 1899. How do I go about doing this?

Disregard my message regarding the picture for Arthur W. Snyder, Jr. You have created a memorial for him complete with tombstone photo. The cemetery book did indeed reverse his death year. There are two memorials for him so I will write to get them merged. The tombstones for Arthur (1873) and Lora and Arthur W. are the same and census records confirm Arthur, Jr. belongs to them.

When you are looking at these Snyders, is there any way you could check and see if you have a tombstone photo for Arthur W. butied with Arthur and Lora. The cemetery book shows his dates as 1911-1913, but there is another Arthur W. 1911-1931 listed in this cemetery. I'm wondering if they could be the same person and the 1913 should be 1931. Thanks.

I don't think your pictures on this one are on the right memorial. There are several Arthur Snyders listed in this cemetery, and I trying to sort them out, but this one was born 1878 and died 1958 which doesn't match the dates on your picture. The correct tombstone photo has been added. I think the Snyder stone picture needs to move to Arthur born 1873 as well. Thanks for your help with this.

Cyrus S Spradling is my great great grandfather. if you have any additional information on the M or his wife Lucinda please let me know if you are a direct descendant as I am. thank you Rebecca Eggers Jones. firstname.lastname@example.org (also find-A-Grave contributor in Missouri, north of Kansas City metro)

The pictures on this memorial don't match the dates from the death certificate. There are currently three Anna L's in this cemetery with the same picture. The correct Anna for this photo is Anna L. wife of John. The second Anna L. should actually be Agnes. I'm working on getting that one corrected and wrong photo removed. And, then there is this Anna Louise. I think from census records she is the wife of Carl and may not have a tombstone. Anyway, take a look. Thanks.
Thank you for the picture you posted to Eva's memorial. I really appreciate it!
|J&D Peterson||RE: Eli March|
The last I knew a direct descendant now has to sign the application for Veteran headstones. Eli March is not a relative. I have been going through Evergreen Cemetery trying to eliminate duplicates, make corrections, link families and add information, particularly to people shown in unmarked graves or where there is no information as I found on memorial for Eli March because there was no information on his stone. I try to add anything that I can find that might help people identify a person. I particularly like to get information added for veterans. As I said, I really, really appreciate quick responses to my edits while the information is still fresh.

Thanks for adding the additional information to Eli March's memorial so quickly. I really appreciate your responsiveness to my edits.
