My Uncle Bill
Dear Mr. Peeters,

First of all, Thank You very much for taking care of my Uncle Bill's (William J Walsh, Providence-RI) grave. It's deeply appreciated.

How do I get in contact with you to discuss next May 2015's visit to the Margraten Cemetery? Thank you.

Sincerely,

John Sheridan

Hallo Ralph -- You are welcome for the photo for Mario.

No, I am sorry I do not know of any of any relatives. You could try with his death certificate to get his parents' names or see if there was an obituary. You may have to track the family through many generations to the present.

I wish you the best of luck! -- Laurel

Hi Ralph,

I am not related to him. I do not know his family. I found his picture on a Pennsylvania veterans website. Can't remember websites address.

I also have a newspaper picture of him in uniform that was printed in his hometown paper just after D-Day. It includes a charming account of a letter he wrote home about his D-Day experiences. I'm happy to share that as well.

Best,
Sue

RE: 1Lt. Sidney F. Atkins
Mr. Peters, I would be happy to share anything I have about Sidney--I am STUNNED to find out that you know of someone who served with him!!!

Is there any way you could put me in contact with this person? I know so little about my uncle's life--I cannot tell you how much it would mean to me to be able to correspond or talk with someone who knew him. Can you help me?

Would you mind writing me through my personal e-mail account? (sue12277@earthlink.net) The only photos I have are of Sidney as a child, but I'm happy to share them. Anything you can do to put me in touch with this veteran who served under Sidney would be most appreciated.

Best,
Sue
