Sorry but you will have to contact the originator of the memorial as they are the only ones who can delete a memorial.

PVT. ROBERT H. LEE
Hi --

I saw that you left flowers for a Pvt. Robert H. Lee at Arlington Cemetery who died in 1930. I'm doing genealogy research for a family with members of the same name name. Can we compare notes to see if this gentleman is part of their group? My friend's father kept quiet about most things in his life, so it's been difficult for him to learn any history.

Thank you so very much.

Hi - I saw the flower you left for William Eddy and wondered if you are related?

While researching Naval history documents, I came across an article about with the headline, "Capt. William Eddy Turns 'Gadgeteering' Hobby into Career".

The article explains how Capt. Eddy invented sub devices. I will send the article to your email address so that you can add it to your family historical documentation and also determine how you would like to summarize it for the memorial page.

If you are not related - let me know.

It was just to good of an article to pass by w/out recognition for the Navy captain! The article also said Capt. Eddy was a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in 1922.

Hope it provides some value to your family history research.

Noticed you left flowers for him. If he's part of your family, would be glad to transfer this memorial; no relation to me.

Kenneth L Bailey.
I noticed you left flowers for Kenneth L Bailey, died in 1094 and is buried at Arlington. Do you have any information about Mr. Bailey? Any response is very much appreciated!

Marie Bobb
Bob,

I jumped the gun! After sending you the message to inquire if you know whether Marie Bobb was married to John Nitterhouse, I did some research under her other married names and found that she did marry him in 1932 but they divorced prior to 1940.

On the 1930 census, she was married to Robert G Beckham. On the census in 1940 she was married to Walter T Bobb.

Marie Bobb -possibly married to John Nitterhouse
Hi. My great uncle John Nitterhouse was a career army man and his 1st wife Elizabeth is buried at Fort Sam Houston. I recently found a record on ancestry.com showing he had a 2nd wife named Marie Woodward. Further research yielded a family tree showing a Marie Jewel Woodward who was married and divorced numerous times. The owner of the tree did not list my great uncle since several spouses were listed as living! and I am unable to contact the tree owner. Additional search on familysearch.org shows that Marie Bobb's maiden name was Woodward (daughter of Samuel Frank and Nancy Woodward).

I assume this woman is my great uncle's 2nd wife, but am wondering if you have a family connection to her and can verify John Nitterhouse as one of her spouses. I would like to eventually link Marie to his memorial.

Thank you.

Rosa May
I believe that Rosa May is my aunt, but there is no maiden name on the gravestone. Her maiden name was Lucius. Did you know this person? Thanks, Barbara Young ennawow@yahoo.com
