Family Connection
Hi, I have been researching Maxey family and it sure is confusing. There is so many men with the same first name and dob so near. I have found that I am connected via my dad's side of family and now my husband's side is connected. I cannot get the i's and t's connected yet. Is there an actual valid book on Maxey genealogy or is everyone's information a could be or should be. I appreciate any help you will render.

Have a blessed day

RE: Edna
I do not mind if you share any of my pictures. Edna Isabelle Ulmet was the daughter of Paul Clement Ulmet and Jessie Goodson. I have Paul Clement being born September 21st 1880 and died February 21st 1972 he is one of 14 children of Paul Virgil Ulmet and Sarah Wafflard or (Walford?) Call Virgil is the son of Desire' Ulmet born april 3 ,1815and Caroline Besaux (or Bizut) born July 6,1819. Call Virgil was born April 16th 1848 in LaFere,France. His family came to America in 1859 and settle near Sebastopol. When he was 11 years old. there he merried Sarah Wafflard at the Bethany Church on March 25th 1872 they lived in that neighborhood 21 years and in the spring of 1893 the family moved to Bond County Illinois and located on a farm in Mills Township.Their children are virgil Horace born 1872 Sara blanche born 1874 Clement Paul born 1874 Maria born 1877 Lawrence born 1878 Paul Clement born 1880 Titus born 1882 Augusta Alice (whom I'm descended from) born 1884 Eunice born 1886 Laura born 1887 Philip born 1889 Timothy Charles born 1891 Evangeline born 1893 Florence born 1896.
I have Paul virgil's obituary and a photo of Ulmet reunion from about 1955 also have a photo of Sarah Eunice Alice Laura and Maria you may be interested in if you will just email me at gkkimble@centurytel.net

RE: James R. Maxcy Jr
I sat here and searched a bit more. I DID find a record for a James Rhodes Maxcy, Jr. marrying a Bertha E. Warren in Jackson County, Missouri on 8-1-1907. Not sure if this is him, but it looks like it.

RE: James R. Maxcy Jr
I can't tell you very much. What I know I got off of his death certificate. Here is a link:

http://register.shelby.tn.us/imgView.php?imgtype=pdf&id=1749819090611

I checked the 1908-1909 City Directory and that address was listed to a John P. Flynn who worked at Goldsmith's Dept. Store here in Memphis. I found no record of Maxcy's wife.

Sorry I can' be of any more help.
