I am particularly interested in the JEWETT family, as my mother (Doris Lorraine Jewett) is one of the descendants. If you receive a copy of an obituary from me for posting to a Jewett memorial, it is up to your discretion whether you want to add it or just use some of the information to update your memorial. If you are not interested in updating your memorials, just delete it. If you don't know how to add material (copy & paste), you can transfer the memorial to me and I will make the corrections and transfer it back. I am only trying to get as much correct information on theses memorials as I can. Thanks for your assistance.
Some people insist on deleting survivors from an obituary. If the obituary is from the 1800's, or even the early 1900's, it is doubtful there are any 'living' descendants, but some folks delete them because that is FAG policy. There are also some folks on this site who will not make any changes, they are in it strictly for the numbers and could care less about the historical aspects of these people. If everyone works together and cooperates with each other, this could be one of the best sites on the web. I will transfer any of my memorials (except my close family) to anyone even distantly related to that person, or even if it is someone you are researching and adding information to the memorial. I will transfer distant family members to anyone who is closer related then myself. After all, they would surely be my cousins if that is the case!
To all who have helped me and made corrections to my memorials, added information or pictures, or even transferred memorials to me to make corrections, I thank you profusely.
