Bio

I live in the northern part of The Netherlands, not too far from the German border. It's quite rainy in these parts and I'm an inexperienced cemetery photographer, so please bear with me while I learn to take clearer pictures in rainy/foggy/misty conditions. I've taken note of any hazy pics and plan on revisiting cemeteries in the future so I can submit sharper ones.

In order to maintain marker integrity and avoid damaging headstones (particularly the old ones around here), I will leave anything that can't be easily brushed off by hand. I'll happily re-shoot any photos on request - though we may all be out of luck if the stone is located under bird-filled trees.

If you need a hand with researching family from The Netherlands or Germany, feel free to send me a message. I speak and read Dutch and can usually decipher the odd bit of written German thrown my way (with a little work).

If you'd like photos of any gravestones or cemeteries in the Dutch provinces of Groningen, Drenthe or Friesland or the western portion of the German state of Lower Saxony, I'd be happy to help with those too.
