Hello, and welcome to my profile page. I'm a retired USN aviator, a native of Los Angeles and a survivor of the September 11, 2001 attack on the Pentagon. I am very blessed to be living in Rancho Santa Fe, California, with my lovely lady and our beloved canine and equine children, not to mention two Harley's and a brand new Indian Chieftain motorcycle.|
After more than ten years as a member here, I've seen my share of silly, even childish exchanges over things that have nothing to do with the purpose of this very special place. It's sad but true that I rarely come here anymore because of these issues, and I sincerely hope that this doesn't happen to anyone else. PLEASE remember that this is a cemetery and it should be treated as such, with dignity and care.
Have a great visit.

Thank you and your son so much for your service to our country and a happy veterans day to you all!!
|alan wasserman||LT Dolly vinsant|
I had just read your last contribution to the LT Dolly Vinsant memorial page here on this sight, before reading your profile I had thought that you might of been a world war 2 veteran possibly someone whom had known her during her years of service. I was just thinking to myself that it would of been interesting to see contributions posted here by some world war 2 vets that had remembered being cared for by her on one of her many courageous mission flights during the war. A very brave woman and an example for young people to follow today.

I am a news reporter in the Rio Grande Valley and am trying to do a story about Dolly Vinsant. A local foundation is asking a reward for the return of the portrait of her you posted on this site. They could not provide a picture of the portrait, but we found it on this si Where did you find the picture and can you give us permission to use it on TV?
Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you can. Thank you so much.

And I just saw I did reply. Count me in with the other idjuts. ;o)

Saw your note about Kobayashi. I agree with U. My relative shot him down. He was what we call in 2013 a terrorist looking out for an unjust gang of gangsters at the time. Nothing redeeming about it. I dislike the youngsters who pretend to understand the past.
|Angelbabe_E||RE: Forgot to Mention...|
Did I remember to say thank you about your compliment of my profile picture?? Really, the meds I'm on make me forget more than usual... lol
I was on Find A Grave a few weeks ago with my dad and we went to your page and clicked on your picture. He commented on you participating in Rolling Thunder. See, my uncle goes every year with his "motorcycle gang". My uncle is a Vietnam Vet.
Anyway, I also wanted to check up on you and make sure you're staying out of trouble! ;o) By the way, are you on Facebook?

Haven't heard from you in a long while. Hope you're ok.
Just checking in and making sure you're staying out of trouble. ;o) Hope all is well!!!

Thank you for this memorial. Do know which division your father served with during the Korean Conflict. Have you considered listing him as Sgt. or Lt. Cmd on the memorial.
If you make it to Rolling Thunder this next year 2013, I would enjoy meeting with you. I try to go every year but have missed a few due to family needs.
