Bio Photo Hello my name is Melissa Clayton Key I am married to Michael Key we live in Henry Co, Tn and have 3 boys Andrew 21, Alex 17 and Aaron 16, Now I have A wonderful granddaughter her name is Serenity Rose

I love doing Family Research I have been doing it for 18 years and have ties all over West TN if you need help let me know.

If you have things to add or correct anything, please let me know and I'll do it asap.

Please contact me if I have memorials that you want transferred I will be glad to do if they are directly related to you (PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, and BROTHERS and SISTERS)
PLEASE do not ask for me to transfer whole cemeteries to you, I am happy to add information.

When my memorials are entered first please do not ask me to delete them if you have pictures to add, add them to the one that is already there please.

Please don't DOUBLE memorials in Cemeteries it makes it confusing for some people if I entered them in F.A.G. first I will ask Find A Grave to merge the duplicates, so please ask for help. I work real hard on Find A Grave entering names and pictures. If I make the mistake I will gladly delete mine, The most of the people I do enter are related to me or my husband, Thank You for looking and have fun with your research I know I do.

Because so many people add data to Find A Grave, there are often duplicate cemeteries and duplicate memorials added. This is a very common situation and is quite difficult to resolve in a way that keeps everyone happy. Before adding a memorial, you should search the cemetery to see if a record with that name has already been added. If you find a memorial has been added but has incomplete or incorrect information, instead of creating a duplicate memorial you should use the tools provided to submit corrections, additions or a transfer request via the "Suggest A Correction" link under the 'Edit' tab on the upper right of the memorial. You should never deliberately create a duplicate memorial.

Jimerson graves
Hi Melissa,

I was looking over the graves of my family tonight at Hillcrest and other cemeteries. In the info that's provided (siblings, parents, etc.) Some of the last/maiden names are spelled Jimmerson and some Jimerson. We all use/used the spelling Jimerson. Even though I know that in the Civil War Records and on Jefferson Jimerson's headstone it is spelled Jimmerson, the family has always spelled it with just one "M". You have to love all the fun spellings of my name. Could you go through and make the changes for me or do I need to contact someone else? Thank you so much for having these available. I don't get to come home often. I miss Whitlock and Henry County.

Find A Grave Memorial# 22058045
Good morning, would you please check the spelling on this memorial. I think it should be ARMS not ARMES. I know his fathers headstone is also marked incorrectly. Thanks Cathy

Are you related to this person and her parents, siblings etc? If so, you are related to my brother-in-law. Can't find the parents in Akron, OH. - any clues?

RE: Perkins Family
Her maiden name on her sons death cert. is Hampton, but I don't know if that's right or not. The informant could be wrong, I was hoping that you knew, and I have also saw it as Jones on some other memorials on find a grave as you have it.

Perkins Family
Hi Melissa,
I am doing research on the Perkins family of Johnson City, Washington County,Tennessee. They are my wife's family. You have the wife of Jefferson Perkins as Margaret Jones (memorial 61328912)I have a son of hers death certificate (Thomas Jefferson Perkins) and it has her last name as Hampton and have seen other things that point to her name as Hampton. I have really been having a hard time searching the Perkins family and any help you could provide on this I would really appreciate.
Thanks, Steve

Memorial 27875198
Hi Melissa,

Christine WILHELM Klutze/Klutts was my 4th great grand aunt. I have a question abt the dates of her birth and death listed on her memorial. You have 30 Jul 1792-30 Jul 1846. Cd you tell me your source for this information because it differs from the dates I have for her? Is there a marker on her grave? Many thanks for your help. Gary Biggs

William Alexander Seawright
There are a couple of mistakes in the note by Betty Sue. William Alexander married Mary Frances McCutchen on 26 Oct 1852, he married Sarah F Adnan (last name might be Aaron) on 24 Dec 1857 and Martha Jones on 24 Oct 1862. Mary Frances McCutchen Seawright is buried in the McCutchen Cemetery memorial #23834539.
