RE: Hobert Dilver Jackson Hobe, as he was called, was my uncle on my mother's side. His wife, Rosie, was my mom's sister. Since he died before I was born, I don't know too much.
I always felt that he and my Aunt Rosie were very devoted to each other. I have to admit, my aunt was quite a character. They had two daughters, whose names I can look up for you if you are interested. I remember being told that he died quite suddenly.
The other piece is that his brother, Bluford Jackson, was an excellent carpenter who established his own wood flooring installation company. I believe Uncle Hobe worked for him at some point. Interesting, the company is still around and I often see Bluford Jackson Flooring company trucks around Cincinnati.
I wish I knew more. Let me know if there is anything else.
James Walker Collins is my husband's 5th gr-grandfather.

RE: Benjamin J. Gaddie Sr. and Clarissa Tyler Druin Gaddie Hi Donna, yes I am related to Benajamin and Clarissa. My maiden name is Druin. I would be happy to chat with you via email about the Druins. I have finally found Green Berry Druin's burial out in California after 40 years of searching. I don't think we will ever find out where Clarissa's parents are buried in Kentucky. If you want a memorial from a manager that is deceased (Mr. Brooks), just write to Findagrave's administration and explain your relationship and they should transfer it over to you. For that email address go to Frequently Asked Questions as I can't remember the email address at the moment..something like firstname.lastname@example.org. It may take a month, but they should eventually do it. Diane Druin Gravlee (email@example.com)
Memorial transfers Donna, I've transferred Walter Henry Owen and Lucy Frances Bass Owen memorials to you. Lucy is a 1st cousin 4 times removed. Her Bass grandparents, William and Rebecca Robertson Bass are my 4th great grandparents, but as your husband is more closely related, I want them to be in your care. Jan
