Bio

I never thought I would say this but due to a non-findagrave person using one of my photos without asking, I must now request- do not use my photos without asking. Thanks
I have worked on my family trees and others for over 30 years. My current interest is in Schoharie & Northern Delaware Counties NY history, especially the town of Summit where I live. I compiled, published and printed books on Schoharie County One Room Schoolhouses, The Schoharie Alps Town of Summit History, Murders and Funky Stuff in Schoharie County, Schoharie County Emergency Medical Services, Spanish American War Veterans with connections to Schoharie County, Women Who Paved the Way at the turn of the Century in Schoharie County, Schoharie County Poorhouse/Almshouse and it's Residents, Murders, Crime and Funky Stuff and Stamford & Vicinity- People, Places & Things. If interested in purchasing any of my books please let me know, most are available on Amazon also.
I got started taking pics of grave stones in looking for Civil War Veterans monuments. Now I take pics of any grave stones with an emphasis on all Veterans. I can spot a Span-Am flag holder in a cemetery from yards away.
My goal is to preserve any piece of history I can get my hands on, particularly in light of how much was lost in our area during Huricanes Irene & Lee.
