Hello, again. I am updating my Find A Grave files. I have markers for Alex and Glenn. The free memorial has all the pics I can upload. You are limited to 5. Let me know what you would like me to do. I am thinking about going out to Fashing this week.
Have a great day.

You are very welcome.

Thank you for sending me a SAC. It was much clearer and I've made the links you requested to her parents.
The pictures on the memorial were not put on there by me so I'm unable to remove them. The only way you can add more pictures now would be to sponsor the memorial which would be a one time fee of $5. Sorry I'm unable to help you more.

You posted the below PM to my profile page.
My name is Vanessa I'm the great great granddaughter of Jacob A Blaise Sr. I was hoping you could add my great grandmother's sister to his page as his child. If you could I would greatly appreciate it, I'm trying to connect all of my family's pages. Let me know if you can, his memorial number is #56624130."
I checked the memorial using the number you provided; however, it isn't a memorial I created. It was created by Frank Pennington and transferred to you to maintain. I have no idea how my name became connected with this memorial.
I'm so sorry that I can't help you with this.

It may be easier for you to just use my personal e-mail address.
We went to Kentucky, PA. (see an Uncle), Washington, D.C. (that's where my mother's side of the family got "off the boat"), N. C., S. C., FL., and back home thru Alabama, Mississippi,& Louisiana.
Another Uncle, David, is also an avid genealogy guy. His lineage is Welsh. Years ago, he found cousins, still in Wales, and visited them. He is retired Air Force and was once stationed in Britain. While there, my Aunt did extensive research in archives and found friends of my great grand father. They visited them as well. My Uncle has a pretty good network of forums and contacts developed over the years. I think it is way cool.
As to Find A Grave forums, I have not used them. I think my Uncle's searches began on Ancestry and Roots. You can find a lot of info on old census records.
Not so lucky on my father's side. I am second generation here. My grandparents came to the US just before WWI. They were from Austria and by the time my father was born, political boarders shifted and their village became absorbed in Czechoslovakia. What I do know about them I found out in census records and with the help of a very nice County clerk.
Keep looking. Church records are very useful as well. :-)

My cousin, Linda, and her son went with me. It was three of us, but Linda and i split the cost. I am not into high finance. We took turns filling her van and buying meals. We stayed with family frequently, so saved a bunch on hotels, etc. I am retired military, so when we had to stay on out dime, I made reservations for us in the visiting officer's quarters. Very cheap. I used my Visa and my bill was about $890.00. I spent about $300 for just junk. We were gone 9 - 27 June. I would suspect that Linda probably spent the same for trip expense, minus the BOQ stays. There were three nights on different bases. But, she had a son to help spend $$$ as well. I guess, total, about $2000.00. It was well worth it. She has been heavily into genealogy for a while. We went to several cemeteries. My/our family is all Southern, except a Great great grandma. I would do it again in a heart beat. She found birth and death certificates and marriage certificates as well a while back. There were some old family issues and questions that the paper work put to rest. Brought tears to my eyes.
I would say, go. You won't be sorry.

Excellent! I just finished a 4500+ mile road trip with two cousins to do our family grave quest. It is important, to me, not to let them slip into oblivion. I believe we are all God's children and all important.

Done. :-) I need to get back out to Fashing. They were putting up a new fence/gate last time I was there. I will update the gate pic when I do. Hope your Great Grandpa's memorial transferred without a hitch.
