PLEASE use the Edit tab and Suggest a Correction link to add/correct information. I try to get to them within 24 hours of receipt. |
PLEASE use the Edit tab and Suggest a Correction to request a transfer. Please include your relationship. I will not transfer out of guidelines. Please spare me the "I am the family genealogist" and the "I have tons of information to add" stories. Use the edit system. Too many people have requested out-of-guidelines transfers and then never added so much as a comma to the memorial. Requests for bulk transfers will be summarily ignored.
I WILL NOT link to a "burial unknown". This IS a grave registration site.
If I do not maintain the memorial, but add a picture, PLEASE check the photo caption for the inscription.
My love of old cemeteries is genetic from my dad. I try to take pictures of the fallen/damaged markers first as they might end up "behind the shed" or "over the wall" by the next time I get there.
Sources for additional memorial information include:

Thanks for trying.
|Lorna Lee Mansfield nee Jourdain||Florence B. Jourdian #40260087|
I noticed that you left a flower for Florence B. Jourdian at Goshen Center Cemetery, Find A Grave Memorial #40260087.
Are you related? I'd like to link her to her spouse, Charles Loomis Jourdian (b 5 Feb 1901 Northampton, Hampshire Co., MA & d 2 Jul 1996 South Deerfield, Franklin Co., MA). Do you have a location/site, Memorial # for him?
Thanks. Lorna Mansfield nee Jourdain
|Frank Yenney||Park Street Cemetery Map|
Many thanks for the great photos of the memorials in Park Street Cemetery. A number are for members of my family and people related to my family.
Do you by any chance have a slightly clearer resolution picture of the map as I am having difficulty reading some of the names? Also do you know if any record exists of the small section that is not included in the photo?
God bless you for all your work.

No, Woodstock was always in CT..... not sure what is happening there....but I have had the same happen. Deleting it altogether, then entering, then adding the correct place separately has worked for me.
I have reviewed this again, and I believe this is for a different Isaac Sheldon. He was buried in West Cemetery in Middlebury.

|Pam Miller||Lieut. Amaziah Cole|
I assume by the "Lieutenant" and the birthdate of 1749 that Amaziah was in the Rev. War. However, I have been unable to find anything listed for him online. Do you have any military information?
Thanks, Pam Miller
|James Bianco||Charles P. Waite - Hatfield|
Hey there, I found that he died in The Military Hospital, Oak Church, Virginia 13 Feb. 1863 (see memorial for source(s). Thanks for bringing his memorial to my attention! Jim

Thanks for supplying her parents' names.
|ray mansfield||Leonard Slattery|
Thank you for the interesting info on Leonard.
We must be somehow related as Beatrice LaPlante Slattery is my Great Aunt on my mother's side.
