I am researching my family surnames on my Father's side (Galloway/Carter/Cook/Oliver (SC/AL/GA) and my Mother's side, Traffenstead/Traffanstedt/Garrett, Freeman (AL/GA/TN/SC) Hartsfield/Cross/Wilson/Moore (AR). I've been interested in geneaology since August 2006 when I started looking for my Mother's biological family whom I found within 2 weeks. From my Mother's side, I am Catawba Indian "People Of The River", German, and British. I'm still working on my Father's side.|
Please take a moment and visit my family. Thank you so much.
This dear sweet woman has been part of our family since I was a little girl. She will never be forgotten. Love you Ms. Frances.

If I have offended anyone, please let me know and I will remove the memorial of your loved one. If you aren't a part of Find A Grave, you can still contact me through the edit tab of the memorial. I don't mean to offend anyone. All memorials are created out of respect. The purpose of me adding names is because I believe that people should never be forgotten, and also I like to help people who are searching for their ancestors. I am so thankful for Find A Grave because not only have I found many of my ancestors, I have found many related family members alive.
I will be happy to transfer memorials that are a part of your family with the exception of the ones of my family within Find A Grave's 4 generations guidelines. Any requests outside the 4 generations will be considered on an individual basis. You MUST state the relationship with your ID number. All RUDE requests will be ignored!
Duplicates - These are errors, and not created on purpose. I search before I create a memorial and after every time. Please bring any errors or duplicates to my attention so I can correct them. If I have created a memorial and you create a duplicate, do not send me a message that the one I created is a dupe and for me to delete. I will not delete any memorials if you created a dupe. Don't create a dupe memorial just because you're related. If you are family, kindly ask for a transfer or you can add photos and send me information to be added and I'll be glad to add it. If you are within the 4 generations, please ask for a transfer. Please read the FAQ's for this site on creating memorials.
Feel free to use my photos 📷 as long as you give me credit and do not make any money off them.
PLEASE NOTE IF YOU WOULD LIKE A TRANSFER, YOU CAN LEAVE A MESSAGE ON MY PAGE WITH YOUR RELATIONSHIP AND CONTRIBUTOR # AS I WILL GET TO IT QUICKER.

Hi Dana,I read in your bio there you are researching the names Cook, and Wilson, here in Alabama. Just so happens my Dad was Cook, and my Mom Wilson. I have been trying to reach relatives of William Cook of Georgia. Spouse Bettie Smith, and most of the Wilson,s are out of Tennessee. Drop me a line and maybe we can compare.

Thanks for that information. I live in Dallas, Texas but was born in Jasper, Alabama and raised in Bessemer, Alabama. I moved to Dallas in 1968. I make the trip to Bessemer about twice a year and could probably go by the Coosa county seat, Rockford to get a copy of the COD. I'm not closely related to Clara Webb (3rd great aunt) but would like to get the correct information. Do you know if I would be allowed to share the COD on Ancestry and FindAGrave?

Hi Dana, Thanks for the note on the memorial for Clara Webb. The 1900 census shows her birth as March 1842. I probably need to find a certificate of death, I'm not sure how to find that.

Dana, William Radford Yarbrough is my husband's grandfather. I have sent you edit links to connect the parents. I would consider it so kind if you would transfer the site to me. If not is fine but if will so appreciated..thanks for all your hard work on Find A Grave & hope you are doing well.
|Tammy Drouillard- Jozwiak||A gift from your great grandma, Minnie Traffensted-Garrett|
Hi Dana, I have in my possession a doll that was made in memorial for your great grandma Minnie Garrett and Birmah Lee, her first baby that passed away. Grandma came and stayed with my mom and my adopted father, James, shortly before she passed onto her family in heaven. Grandma brought with her a pretty little slip that she bundled up and carried around. To her this was her precious baby, Birmah Lee and we all shared in the joy of helping her care for her baby. We relived through her memories some sad times when Birmah Lee was sick and very hard to console. After this time passed she brought grandma much comfort in her last days here. I'm glad Birmah Lee came back to be with grandma and to help her leave this world happier. After Grandma passed, my mom made a doll and used the slip to dress her and we called her Birmah Lee Garrett, of course. I would like to help you connect with this side of your family you found by sharing these memories with you and sending you the doll. If your interested please contact me, at email@example.com. with much love, Tammy

Thank you for sending me Edna BOLT Hallmark.
Thanks for your message. I understand. Since you are familiar with the cemetery, would it be possible for you to tell me if any other Hathcox is buried there, and possibly near Emma Hathcox' grave? Since Emma McGuire remarried a Hathcox, it's possible her second husband is interred there. I know from the Hillview grave listing that there are other McGuires buried there, but none seems to be William Cumbee McGuire. I appreciate your responding.

I am researching my father's family, Clarence Lano MaGuire, and was wondering if you might be able to shed any light on some family members. Emma Lula Graham McGuire was my father's mother. She was married to William Cumbee McGuire, but I can find no record of him or what happened to him (family lore says that he was shot when my dad was very young). Emma remarried a Hathcox and had another son, Marion Laymon Hathcox, and maybe other children. Appreciate anything you might be able to help me with, especially any information on what happened to William Cumbee McGuire. He was the middle son of five born to William Marion and Elizabeth Carter McGuire in Alexander City, Tallapoosa.
