My name is MaryEllen Leigh-Stover. I'm a retired nurse, an Ordained Minister and a Doctor of Theology. Cemeteries have always been a hobby of mine, but I find it frustrating that many cemetery records are incomplete. I found this site and decided to do my part by adding those dearly departed that I am personally aware of. This may turn out to be quite a task!|
My friend RMP suddenly passed away on March 31, 2010. She and I had made it our project to add a flower to every one's memorial in our home county of Bucks in PA; I will still be carrying on that project alone. There are so many graves without any flowers at all and that is sad to see. If in your journey through Find A Grave's memorials in Bucks County PA, should you come across a memorial I have missed please post a message for me or send me a link. I really do not want to overlook anyone and would appreciate the extra eyes.
I am also doing all the cemeteries in Wales, and many in N. Ireland, since my heritage is mostly from these areas. If you know of or have any Welsh or Irish relatives that you would like entered, I'd be glad to do that for you.
Another current project is a huge one. Along with the projects I have mentioned above, I am steadily working through all American, Allied and Commonwealth (British Empire) graves in France and North Africa (so far, this will expand to include Germany in the future) for both WWI and WWII. I have always been a student of history and I firmly believe if we don't know where we came from and how we got here, including the cost of lives lost, we will never be able to find our way forward.
If there are any entries that I have made from our local newspaper's obituaries that may be of your loved ones, relatives or friends, I will be more than happy to turn them over to you upon request. Please, feel free to alert me to any additions or corrections that you may find.
MaryEllen (Rev. Dr. Mary) Leigh-Stover

I wanted to thank you for your huge undertaking in placing memorials on graves. I am currently researching my family and have determined Rodman is my Great-Great Grandfather. I no longer live in that area, I grew up in Trenton, NJ, so I cannot visit the graves of the ancestors I discover.
I too have Welsh roots on a different branch of my tree. Good luck on your projects, and thank you again!

Hello, I found a Bucks County Grave without a note from you on it and though you would like to know. It is for Amanda Keller 119683511 in Keller's Union Church Cemetery. Thank you for caring about those that may be forgotten.

Thank you for your kind words. Yes, she had a lot of spunk. I think spunk was a requirement in my mother's household. Sixteen brothers and sisters!

Thank you for placing a flower on my Grandmother Phoebe Jane Disbrow Daugherty's 'find a grave' site. If you have a moment, please view the picture of Phoebe that I posted. Her grave is located in the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church cemetery.
