|Growing up in Utah and a member of a very religous family, I have always known about the names of my ancestors but not always the stories. Between Find a Grave and a few other sites, I have been able to collect stories and pictures of not only my family but my husband's as well. When I started the research for my husband's family, I started with his grandfather's name only and have since been able to find pictures and records showing where his family immigrated to America. I miss his grandfather and am grateful I had the chance to get to know him over 13 years of marriage to his grandson. |
I've used Find a Grave as a tool for research for years but only signed up to help when my mother passed away 2 months ago. I know that I am lucky to have my mother's grave close to my home and am quite aware that there are many out there without the same luxury. I feel that it is best to share the information that I have found with others and I feel that Find a Grave is a great place to share since it combines so much information into one page for all to see.

Oh No - You're not included in the Junior Member category. You've done quite a bit of time in the Trenches.

The Grandson of this fella was at my house last night. He was impressed with the work you have accomplished on his Grandfathers behalf.
He's on an LDS mission from Georgia.
I'm going to obtain the plot location and submit an Edit for Eugene & Spouse. Then I'm going to request a stone photo. Just thought I'd let you know in case you wanted to be involved in this. I usually let the junior Find A Grave members do photo submissions, "It builds Character" LOL.
Aside from that, I'm usually on a photo run (inventory) shooting 100 to 300 stone photos per day.

Thank you much Stacey!
Thank you for creating this memorial. Would you be willing to transfer to me? He was my father, Robert W. Scott

Stacey, the obituary showing in the biography section on memorial 126421758 is for the person for whom memorial 84842775 was created. I knew Mr. Foote; he died in 1959.

This is a duplicate memorial. I have memorial #16929972 which has her headstone, etc. If you would like to delete your memorial for her, I will transfer her memorial over to you to manage. Just shoot me an email or put in a request and I'd be happy to do that.

I would like to manage my father's memorial. His name is Fred Henry Hegerhorst- memorial #92679707.
Thank you Carolyn Andrus #48979758.

Thank you for the grave information on my cousin Elizabeth. I am wondering if you would mind transferring #86946249 to me as I have a virtual cemetery set up for my family members and am one of the primary people in the family working on genealogy.

Thank you not only for the transfer but adding the Deseret News information from 1961. Really helps.
