I'm a fairly recent enthusiast of cemetery photography. I suspect becoming a site contributor and photo volunteer was inevitable.|
I live in the Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee. My involvement in the Society for Creative Anachronism (the "SCA") means that I travel to other states - notably Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
When possible, I now "fit in" cemetery photography sessions while away from home.
Most of the memorials I have made are for people I am not related to. They've come about from picture-taking adventures and subsequently learning that no memorial existed. When appropriate, I add photographs to existing memorials.
A good number of the memorials I manage but did not make are my family. Some were created before I came along and were kindly transferred to me by other contributors who are not related to them. Others originated from the U.S. Veterans Affairs Office and were transferred to me by Find A Grave Administration.
A couple of memorials I now manage are of non-relatives for whom I suggested rather extensive editing based on information I had gathered ... and the non-relative originator chose to transfer management to me.
If you find that one of your relatives has a memorial made by me, I'll be happy to transfer management - WITHIN the 4-generation direct relationship guidelines as given in the Find A Grave FAQ. --->> Please do specify your exact relationship in the SAC! <<---
FAQ #162 states that the 4-generation direct relationships are as follow: "This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren."
Kindly DO NOT copy my photographs for use on other websites. Yes, I ***REALLY*** DO mean: DON'T post photographs that I have taken to Ancestry.com or to any other site.
Copyright for images posted to Find A Grave remains with the photographer, who in this case reserves the right to not permit further sharing on the Internet.

I am working on Lafayette Cem 1 in NOLA and saw your note about trying to read your photos. I have posted new photos to your memorial that are easy to read if you would like to check them out. I also took the side panel if you would like to remove one of yours I could also post that or I can just post to the name on the side panel and you can see them there whatever is easier just shoot me a note if you need something.
Have a great day.
You still active? I will retire to TN in about 65 days...
Many thanks for posting the picture of the memorial for Millie Hutcheson.

|Carla Starling||Pansy Hart|
I received an email in late January asking me to attach my aunt Pansy Hart to her husband. The number supplied was 62415268. That number belongs to her brother and my uncle Louie.

Thanks for your helpful suggestions. I wasn't sure how fast the current manager would make the change to include the plot info, but I will go ahead and try that first. Once I get the note it has been accepted, I'll redo the photo request and do it for all three. Your comments that some people don't see the notes is quite correct or they want the credit, so I shall follow your guidelines. Thanks.
|Diane Gravlee||Howard White Jr. too|
I should have also mentioned that a son, Howard White Jr. may be buried in the same plot area as his parents. Please look for him too.

I have noted your comments in regard to having a plot location for burials in the Macon Memorial Park. I put in a request for Howard & Nannie White's grave marker photo last November and put the location in the "note" section because I don't manage their memorials. Are you still doing photos there? If so, they are in Section D, Lot 226. I didn't know if this is enough info to find their burial site? Diane
Hi! This is one of my ancestral relatives.
