Jake Riggins, #89056310

I have a question about the memorial you created for Jake Riggins. His death certificate says buried in the Hearn Cemetery, Eagle Lake, Texas. You have him in the Elm Grove Cemetery so my question is did Elm Grove use to be called Hearn? I have 9 death certificates that all say the Hearn Cemetery but I didn't know where it was so I've just been holding on to them waiting to create their memorials.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Your birth and death dates don't look accurate. He is listed in the 1880 US census with son Charles H and his wife Rebecca which match Find A Grave, but the census is from 16 JUNE 1880. Perhaps the death date for him is actual his wife's? The suggestion that the birth date was 14 DEC 1804 would also fit the age of 75 years on last birthday for the 1880 census, but I've found ages to be mistaken many times.

Thanks! I've updated the photo description on my account, and let the other people questioning the caption know. --judy

It's just attached to the cemetery page. I don't know if it's attached to any particular memorial. Someone added it to their page (without attribution) for an ancestor that is also in my tree. Here's the URL:

There's a photo attributed to you of a monument that says, "1710-1913 To guard the --- --- of the South Parish" and I can't get the words on the middle line. Do you know what the inscription says? If I enlarge the photo, it's too blurry to read.
