I live in Central Kentucky (Rockcastle County)but the Leesburg/Lee County and Albany/Dougherty County area of south west Georgia holds a special place in my heart. I have been studying my family history since April 2010. I come from Leger and Ramey lines in Rockcastle County, KY, Robinson in Clay County, KY and Morey and Bryant on my mother's side in south west Georgia. My Presley line traces back through Fayette County, KY to Rogersville in Hawkins County, Tennessee.|
Please take a moment to visit the memorial to my Mom Joan Presley, who passed away June 23, 2013.
7/24/2013: A special thanks to Debra Dawson, Contributor # 46809560 for sponsoring Mom's memorial page. It was a very kind and thoughtful gesture, as are the tokens that she and others have left for Mom and for other family members.
10/18/2013: Not been on the site as much just lately. As the holidays approach, I find it more difficult to get my mind off of those who have gone on. This has been an exceptionally rough time of year since my Grandmother's death in 2006 and got worse after my grandfather passed in 2011. I am ever thankful to those who visit the memorials to my friends and family on here, even if I am not on here as often to express this through messages.

You left flowers on my father's memorial page and I was wondering if you have a connection to my family. We are quite spread out so anything is possible. Please let me know. Thank you for your time.

Thinking of you Brian, I know the holidays are a very hard time of year and that this is the first one without your Mom. Take a deep breath I'm here for you. Allison

I posted a second photo of his marker now that the date has been engraved. I will be happy to delete it however if you would prefer. Happy Thanksgiving.

I sent you a reply back before I visited my dad's memorial. Thanks, friend, for those kind words. You have a way with writing them! You made me cry too! :) I cried remembering....
|Brandy Wells Murray||RE: Here it is, we knew it was coming, right?|
Brian, you are one of the kindest souls on here. It's the season of grieving - first one for both of us. It's hard to know that I could have been a better daughter, could have done so much more. But then I realize that my daddy wasn't the person he once was. I have a story. Lord, don't we all. I am very thankful for the years I was with my dad.
Thank you for your kind words. Not many people would take the time and care that you have. Thank you for your prayers, I need 'em. Not even gonna lie. I hope and pray that this Holiday season will be filled with wonderful memories of your mother. Hope someone makes her favorite dishes. How blessed we are to have memories.
Happy Thanksgiving...I'll talk to you again (Lord willing) before Christmas!
Be blessed my friend,
