|Traci's Mom||Token you left for Traci Fields|
Thank you very much for the token you left for my daughter, Traci.
Many findagrave friends have been banding together to achieve 5,000 flowers/tokens by her birthday on November 20. Thanks to you and them, Traci has received 6,268.
I'm in awe of the loving, caring people on findagrave. I am blessed to know them.
Sharon (Traci's mom)
Thank you for your token that you left on my wife memorial. I really appreciate it very much.

Sorry about the link. My ancestor's memorial number here is #125843799 (Mrs. Sydney Deardorff). She was the daughter of Eli Fairchild and Celia Moody (Eli, the son of Cyrus, grandson of Ebenezer, great-grandson of Caleb and gg-grandson of Zachariah and Hannah Beach).

Thank you so much for leaving a note on my dog Dixie's page today. She was very special to our family and we will always grieve her loss.
P.S. I am a descendant of Thomas Fairchild and Emma Seabrook through their son, Zachariah. The most recent member of my family with the Fairchild surname is my great-great grandmother:
Thanks - Wilmington was where we were going to go to the beach. It is a wonderful picture. Just moved it below her picture I took last July.

You are welcome!
|Richard Wesley||Hine Simpson, 1861-1923|
Ok, I will try to explain. I created the memorial for Hine Simpson (1861-1923), memorial # 66954565.
The only people I can link him to is his wife and his parents....If you know their names and memorial numbers, send that information to me and I will glady do the linking.....as for Hine Simpson, Jr. you will have to send a message to the contributor who created his memorial and ask him to do the linking. Be sure to indicate the memorial #s of the person to be linked to.....the same procedure to link the grandson...

My pleasure! Anytime.

I can tell you exactly where it is...
When you turn into the cemetery from Oaklawn Ave, go until you get to the first left turn. Turn left. You will then have woods on your left, and section 6 on your right. The Simpson family monument is just a few rows down. It is right on the edge of the road and easy to spot. The markers that are placed there are Hine(a funeral home marker), James, and on the other side is Annie Evans.
Today I was there and there is a very fresh new grave there right next Annie. There is no marker. You can see it in the photo that I posted for Annie.

I will go to Oaklawn tomorrow and see if I can find the family plot and get new photos. I remember where James' marker was, so I will start there. Who's grave are they visiting in the photo? That picture looks older. I don't remember James having a family monument, but very well could be wrong. I remember just noticing the corner of the marker, so I uncovered it and took a quick picture. I hope the marker has not gotten covered up again. It is in a muddy area under trees, and there is no grass at all.
If there are any others at Oaklawn that you would like to have a photo of, let me know. I will do my best to search for them.
