It all started with a box my Mother found in the closet after my Dad passed. She passed it on to me. This box opened up a whole new world for me. I haven't stopped searching since. Thanks, Dad, for leaving me the most loving, thoughtful gift one could possibly receive! I currently search my Dad's side: Thornley, Herman, Smith, Fry, Riddle, Keller, Landers, Springer, and Harbuck. And my Mom's side: Harrison, Allred, Herrin, Allison, Portwood, and Zills.
If there is already a headstone photo on a memorial, there is no need to add another one of the same photo. This makes the memorial look tacky and I don't appreciate it.
Also, feel free to use any photos I post for your personal use. I just ask that you give me credit for them.
Sherry Kovar I was so glad to see you posted Sherry. I went into find a grave to post her as I just found out she passed away. I spoke with her about a year ago via email message. She was my neighbor in Clear Lake for years. I'm always glad to see young people volunteering. We need young volunteers. I've been doing this for over 14 years and am a DAR and Bay Area Genealogy, Museum Guild Member. Research is an important part of my life following my family and faith. Nice to meet you and if you ever need help just give me a shout out.
RE: James Thomas French Your very welcome. He is my GGG-Grandfather on my mother's side. Sorry it wasn't a headstone. I always forget to hit the selection button on the add a photo button. I also submitted a bio from county archives in the suggestion box that your husband may find interesting.
RE: Harbuck Kelcie Kemite Harbuck was a brother to my step-father, whose father was Albert Lee Harbuck, a brother of Samuel. I do not have a photo of Lillie Bell, although it is probable that one of her daughters, Barbara Sue is still alive. The Harbuck family has a reunion every year in Nelson, Choctaw County Oklahoma. The last one I attended was in 2011. I don't know how close you live to that area. Lee
RE: Harbuck Hi Kim, Atward Jefferson Harbuck was my step-father. I have 1 brother and 4 sisters that he and my mother were the parents of. Samuel Columbus Harbuck was Atward's uncle. I do have information about the Harbuck line. Let me know what you are looking for and I will try to help you. Lee
