For 44 years I stayed as far away from cemeteries as possible, then I decided to find out about my grandfather's family.|
Any genealogist can tell you the rest.
I have taken it upon myself to "adopt" a couple cemeteries with the intention of posting every headstone in them. Therefore, I have created a lot of memorial pages for people I have never met. If I have a memorial page for a member of your family, simply ask and I will turn it over to you. Please tell me your relationship in your request.

|Soupy||GW Taylor is definitely down there!|
Thanks so much for the picture that gave me my first real clue to my GG Grandfather. I wrote the county register and she could not find anyone by that name who was in the 41st Regiment. I just found his grave stone request in the national archive. It wasn't requested until 1891 and he died in 1874 so maybe his record burned when many public records did in the early 1930's. So what I had read about Company E of the 41st Ill Inf records being incomplete was correct. Now to find out who his neighbor is. Thanks again! Soupie

|Ronald Decker||Four Murphy Graves, Greenwood Cemetery, McHenry County|
I manage four memorials for members of the Murphy family at this cemetery, related to me, which you transferred to me in 2009. If you are still interested in this cemetery, I would like to transfer them back to you. At age 82, I want to transfer my memorials to younger people before I become a memorial. |Jane Fowler||#23879477 Robert Smith Mabry|
Listed is a brother, Richard Granville Mabry, and no other siblings. Wondered how this name was discovered? It states that "additional information from his (Robert) death record" could have been used. Where can I find this additional death record information?
Thank you for your research, Jane Fowler
Thank you very much for the photo! I am working on the Meseke family. Jessica

Hello, I have a photo request for a friend who is unable to travel and would love to see her Mother &Father grave would you be able to take the photo?
Maryhill Catholic Cemetery. I'm not sure how bad your weather is at this time and I'll understand if you can not do it now but hope you can help us in a few weeks when the weather get a little warmer.

How does one go about getting something transferred over? Some of my family is buried
in Maplewood Cemetery in St. Elmo.
