|David ||RE: The Goins|
Thank you again Molly. I'm on the verge of getting Walter Jr.'s marker photographed I hope. William was tickled to read his family history. He said his mother never talked about family so this was fascinating for him. It seems like the Civil War pushed the Goins west from South Carolina and WW2 scattered the 3 brothers from Texas to Connecticut and Hawaii.

Mistakes are what makes life exciting.
Yes, that is their marriage record. Those should be the parents on his death cert.

The children are correct for Wm DB Inman. He and Louisa had 10 children: Wm Harvey was the oldest and Taylor was the youngest. If you check the death cert for William B Innmon, you will see his parents on there, and the place of burial. His wife is named as Lula instead of Louise.

There is a problem with the Bill Inman that was connected to Mary Louisa Davis Inman. Louisa was married to William DB Inman, son of Daniel L and Elizabeth Swanger Inman. This Bill Inman died in Bessemer, Gastonia Co NC, and is buried in Spencer Mt Cemetery. His death cert is under the name William B Innmon.

Just discovered and perhaps you already knew, Zelma Mahaffey's mother was Lena Augusta GALYEAN.
|genieresearcher||Charles Inman info|
Thanks Molly, much appreciate the info. Since his death cert gives mother's name as Thelma G. Inman, and Charles was residing with his uncle George Galyean in 1930 I'm wondering if Thelma's maiden name might be Galyean perhaps?
|David ||RE: the Goin family history|
That is an impressive amount of information Hoyt Goin gathered.88 pages. Hoyt and my Goins were all floating around the same waters during WW 2 and Korea.The family history could be amended to include William, Walter and Samuel. I can obtain the names of their children as well. Some are in CA,HI,TX & CT Thanks for the that website.
