I am retired. I have been doing genealogical research on my family lines for about 20 years. For the past few years I've put my research on the "back burner" but now that I've retired, I'm back into it. I enjoy going through cemeteries and each headstone tells only a very short history of that person's life. I now get to do several of my favorite hobbies, all at the same time, history, genealogy research, photography, walking through cemeteries, and motorcycle riding.
Not all of the headstones I list are family lines. If you find a correction or have additional information, just let me know.
If you have any ATWELL'S and transfer them to me, I'll take good care of them, but I will not transfer any ATWELL'S.
In the future, please use the change buttons that FAG has provided. I do check these to see if they are correct, so if it seems to be in error, I will decline them.
I will not link unknown burials.
DUE TO NUMEROUS FALSE EDITS AND MAKING EDITS FOR A CONTRIBUTOR AND THEN ANOTHER CONTRIBUTOR SAYING THAT EDIT WAS INCORRECT, VERIFICATION OF EDITS WILL BE REQUIRED OR THAT EDIT REQUEST WILL BE DENIED. IF YOU WANT TO MAKE AN EDIT BE PREPARED TO PROVE IT.

I've started putting G.P.S. locations on some memorials. The accuracy is supposed to be within 16 feet, so this should put you in the close proximity of the memorial. Not too bad for satellites 12,600 miles in space.

#84654098 Daniel Moody Carnley
Daniel Moody Carnley died 4-8-2016. James & Lipford Funeral Home of Graceville, FL directed his funeral. You can check with them for his obit. Someone had him buried in Pleasant Grove UMC Cemetery in Washington Co., FL, instead of Pleasant Grove UMC Cemetery in Geneva Co., AL. I sent him or her a message and the memorial has been removed. I have the obit if you cannot get it from the funeral home. Thanks.

photo on wrong memorial
Hello Don!

I just noticed that you posted a photo of Odell McCraney's headstone on the memorial page for Anita (Sedarski) Pionke (#90667919). Could you please remove it as they are different people? :) Thanks so much in advance!

It's me again {Janet} I keep finding you on Find A Grave. You are doing so much work for Find A Grave. I found you on a Lamberth family also. My great great great grandfather is Jonathan Lambert, his daughter was my great great grandmother, Rebecca Lambert and she married George Robert Dunlap. Do you know who Johathan married and his parents? Sorry to keep texting you, but I sure would appreciate any help from you if you are not to busy. You have done alot of work already and I appreciate you. Thanks again Janet Piearcy Collum my email is janet_coloum1@comcast.net

Bush family
Vernon Bush was married to a Hodge. Vernon was Zach Bush and Julia Bedsole child. I can't remember Vernon's wife name, it was an usually name. I am wondering if you know anything about the Bush family or Dunlap famiy? They lived in Henry Co. Al. also. The Bush family are my hardest brick wall. I guess because they were so poor, there isn't much about them that I can find. Also would you happen to know about Vernon Bush family, his wife's name and if he had any children? I believe another one of the Bush's family was married to another Hodge, but I can't find it. I would greatly appreciate any information you feel like sharing. Thank you very much!! Janet Piearcy Collum. My email is janet_coloum1@comcast.net and my phone number is 770-912-9145. I take care of my 80 year old mother so if you decide to call and I can't get to the phone in time to answer your call, please leave your name and number and I will call you back asap.

Van Hutto
G S Hutto Father
Mr Atwell- I'm trying to link George S Hutto who I believe is my G3 Grandfather to his father. I believe this the genealogy: German born Isaac Hutto (Otto) (1685 1752) came from Switzerland with his family on the ship "Oliver" into Charleston, SC in July 1735. His family included his wife, Maria Catherina, and at least four children. They were Anna, born about 1723; Charles, 1722; Sarah, 1726; and Peter, 1727. The important one to me I believe is Charles (1722-1780) Birth: 1722, Germany, Death: 1780 Orangeburg County South Carolina. His son, Charles Jr (1755-1817) was father to the first George Solomon and born in S.C. died in Alabama (1797-1882). George begat George S. Hutto (1825-1881)(Civil War/Texas Hutto) who begat G.S. Hutto (1863-1935) who begat Charles Ezra (1902-1983) named for his Great-Great Grandfather who begat Johnny C. Hutto. Does your research support this? Thanks!

Thank for you posting a photo of my brother's headstone in Graceville, Florida. I live in Idaho and have not been able to visit his final resting place in Florida. His ashes are split between Florida and Council Bluffs, Iowa for family.
