ALSO...TO ANSWER THE QUESTION ASKED BELOW BY Dave Lehman (#47034421)....I HAVE NOT BEEN A "DICK" AT ALL IN MY LIFE. I HAVE BEEN TOO BUSY WITH 27 YEARS OF MILITARY SERVICE, OVER A DECADE OF CIVILIAN POLICE WORK....and putting a few times as many entries into Findagrave as you. As anyone can see I have not really had the time to waste any of MY life being...or calling anyone a "DICK", Dave.

If I have added a family member or a good friend, I am happy to transfer memorials. I am not bothered by F.A.G. guidelines in transfers. I am concerned about getting family members "back together." I DO transfer distant relatives since they SHOULD be with family.
I am also happy to transfer memorials of close friends as well as family.

REMEMBER, these sites are in memory of someones' ancestors. If you place a photo on a memorial, make it good enough that you would be happy with it on your own.

All men die...not all men really live.

I am looking for Charles & Flo Liddington. Flo died in 1972. Charlie was alive in 1974. They were my mothers' mother & step-father.
I believe they lived modestly within a half hour of Danville, PA. Also, I am searching for any info regarding the roster for the 33rdBattalion of the Maryland Militia. An ancestor I am searching for, Thomas Mock, who served with this unit in New Jersey in 1777 under George Washington. He had a wife names Sarah and parents were George & Catherine Mock. They were from "SUPPOSEDLY" living between Sharpsburg and Middletown, Washington County, MD.

RE: James B. McCurdy
Thank you so much. You didn't need to do that but I appreciate it nonetheless. Maybe I will be able to add some information to his memorial in the future.

James B. McCurdy
I am so, so pleased that you took the picture of James B. McCurdy's stone and posted it on findagrave. His mother (Mary Brisben McCurdy) and my g-g-grandfather (John Briben) were brother and sister.
John Adams McCurdy was the husband of Mary Brisben and the father of James B., Matilda and Hannah McCurdy. After Mary died in PA in 1815, the father and children moved to Jefferson County, VA, with several other McCurdys.
I have wanted for several years to make the trip to Jefferson County, W Virginia; but due to old age and poor health, we have not been able to make the trip. I would have loved to have dug deeper into their history than I am able to on Ancestry.
Anyway, I really appreciate your kindness in taking your time to get the picture of James B. McCurdy's stone. I thought he was probably buried there with his sisters but had no way to be certain until you helped me out. Thank you!
