I am retired. I have been doing genealogical research on my family lines for about 20 years. For the past few years I've put my research on the "back burner" but now that I've retired, I'm back into it. I enjoy going through cemeteries and each headstone tells only a very short history of that person's life. I now get to do several of my favorite hobbies, all at the same time, history, genealogy research, photography, walking through cemeteries, and motorcycle riding. Not all of the headstones I list are family lines. If you find a correction or have additional information, just let me know. If you have any ATWELL'S and transfer them to me, I'll take good care of them, but I will not transfer any ATWELL'S. In the future, please use the change buttons that FAG has provided. I do check these to see if they are correct, so if it seems to be in error, I will decline them. I will not link unknown burials. DUE TO NUMEROUS FALSE EDITS AND MAKING EDITS FOR A CONTRIBUTOR AND THEN ANOTHER CONTRIBUTOR SAYING THAT EDIT WAS INCORRECT, VERIFICATION OF EDITS WILL BE REQUIRED OR THAT EDIT REQUEST WILL BE DENIED. IF YOU WANT TO MAKE AN EDIT BE PREPARED TO PROVE IT.
I've started putting G.P.S. locations on some memorials. The accuracy is supposed to be within 16 feet, so this should put you in the close proximity of the memorial. Not too bad for satellites 12,600 miles in space.
Memorial #136467529 Your link is to his grandparents. This is the memorial #39033729 of his Father with his Mother beside, on the same headstone. There were several siblings. I can provide more information
Hazel T Cox Rooks #156475469 Don, the above profile is a duplication, an understandable one, however. Hazel was married to Charles H. Cox who I worked with in Marianna years ago, and Hazel was employed by me during the same period. She's listed on his grave memorial #18577377. On the memorial the name is Hazel T Cox and #18577397. Mr. Rooks is her 2nd husband, who is buried with his 1st wife in Tallahassee. The photo of the headstone (Charles & Hazel) was photographed before she died in 2015. I suspect her death date is now etched on the stone, as before it only included her birth date. Maybe you can contact the other profile manager & work out getting rid of the duplication. Thank you for your efforts. Steve Willcox
Ona Myrle "Youngblood" Davis This edit was brought to my attention by Ona Myrle's daughter. She requested the edit. I told her: I would send the edit. Previously, it had been misspelled as "Myrtle". Ona Myrle is correct. I am not sure, why you changed and then declined my request? I am a "Davis Family Member". At any rate, thanks for you edit. Your dedication and contributions to find a grave are greatly appreciated. CBDAVIS.
Justin Calhoun; Ebenezer Cemetery Hello, Memorial #153967759-Justin was my good friend and next door neighbor since April 1995. Noticed you don't have his DOB or his headstone yet. His grandparents have put his headstone there now if you would care to return and take the photo, and his DOB is:18 February 1990. Thanks.
#92330136 Joseph W. Golden This Joseph W. Golden is not #85654779 Earl Charles Golden's brother. Earl is buried in Memory Hill, in Dothan and his brother Joe Weeks Golden is buried there also. The #92330136 Jospeh W. Golden is not related to the ones buried in Big Creek UMC Cemetery nor Earl Golden buried in Memory Hill. The Goldens' buried in Big Creek & Memory Hill are my husband's relatives. I do not know the other Joseph W. Golden.
I appreciate your help as I want them all to be in the correct cemetery. Do you know of another cemetery called "Hebron Cemetery" or "Mount Hebron". I take it Hebron is a small community, I wonder how many cemeteries there would be in the community that might be referred to "Hebron Cemetery". Do you know the area well enough to help me with that. Sometimes a death record will say "Hebron Cemetery" when it doesn't literally mean a cemetery known as Hebron Cemetery.
Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated and I do so thank you for looking for them again.
