I am researching my own family as well as documenting cemeteries. I feel it is important to photograph stones before they are forever lost to time. I would be happy to transfer any memorials and welcome all changes/additions/corrections because getting it right is a good thing!|
Please do not take offense if I add a different photo to a memorial page. Maybe the photo I took gives a different perspective due to time of year, lighting, etc. Of course, I welcome any additional photos and/or editions to memorials I have created.
Photo Use: If I took the gravestone photo, please feel free to use it. Please do not use personal family photos without my permission.
Heal the past,
Live the present,
Dream the future.
"Walking. I am listening to a deeper way. Suddenly all my ancestors are behind me. Be still, they say. Watch and listen. You are the result of the love of thousands."

P.S. I just want to give a special thank you to all the people who volunteer to take photo requests. Many times it is impossible to see a grave in person and your photo is the next best thing. Many thanks for your time.

Great work getting a headstone. I know the paperwork (and expense) it takes, but someome has to see the need and DO IT! Good work - Anne

I am so sorry. I will figure out how to give you credit. I assume this should go in the description dialog box.
Please let me know what photo for which person (with their birth and death years since I am finding so many people with the same names in my family) and I will fix that right away.

Just uploaded a photo for Joseph. There are other names on the stone: Caroline M. (1859-1940), J. Harry (died 1944), Elsye C. (died 1955), Eleanor T. (died 1980), and Marion H. (died 1982). Would you like to create these memorials, or shall I?

Thank you Kimberly so much for transferring my family members over to me! And for all you've done so that I can see their stones since I live so far away!
I understand why you think her name was Clarabelle, but both her birth and death certificates list her as Clara Belle and that is how she is listed in my husband's family tree. I can't change it unless you can give definite proof otherwise.

You are vey welcome. I am sure we will be back in the near future & will look for your great grandfather. If he wants to be found, I am sure he will pop up. It is a large cemetery for sure. But we feel that those who want to be found manage to catch our eye. We kind of "get led" to them. We don't even leave the car, just drive around and look at the list and look out the car window. Today we found 4 requests in that cemetery in a short time, just going where we get pulled. And because we are older and can't climb hills, they always seem to be near the road! :-)
