Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am researching my own family as well as documenting cemeteries. I feel it is important to photograph stones before they are forever lost to time. I would be happy to transfer any memorials and welcome all changes/additions/corrections because getting it right is a good thing!

Please do not take offense if I add a different photo to a memorial page. Maybe the photo I took gives a different perspective due to time of year, lighting, etc. Of course, I welcome any additional photos and/or editions to memorials I have created.

Photo Use: If I took the gravestone photo, please feel free to use it. Please do not use personal family photos without my permission.
Edits: Use the Edit button on the memorial page for additions/corrections. Do not use personal email for edits unless absolutely necessary.
Heal the past,
Live the present,
Dream the future.

"Walking. I am listening to a deeper way. Suddenly all my ancestors are behind me. Be still, they say. Watch and listen. You are the result of the love of thousands."
Linda Hogan

P.S. I just want to give a special thank you to all the people who volunteer to take photo requests. Many times it is impossible to see a grave in person and your photo is the next best thing. Many thanks for your time. Paying it forward!

RE: Work/Carson
I just wanted to thank you again for transferring the Works and the Carsons to me. You'll never know how much it means.

Holy Cross Cemetery Photo Requests
Please call the cemetery office and ask for the grave location. Photo requests cannot be fulfilled without Section, Range/Row and Lot numbers as cemetery is too big. Thank you!

Katherine Yenner Find A Grave Memorial# 113282517
I am the great great Granddaughter of Katherine. I just found the Memorial that you put up for her with the headstone. Thank you for this. I was wondering if you had any information on the family since our branch of the family has very little info on this part of the family. It would seem that Katherine (her daughter, my great grandmother) was separated from her family in the early 1900's for some reason and we really don't know why. Any help would be very much appreciated! Ginger (Virginia Katherine - named after my great grandmother Katharine Yenner, the misspelling was not realized until I started doing my own genealogy work).

Unknown Gibbons

Kimberly, is there any chance the name on this stone could possibly be James Henry Gibbons?

Birth 3 Apr 1807;
Death 19 Aug 1807,
both in Wilmington, New Castle, Delaware

He was the first child of William Gibbons and Rebecca (Donaldson) Gibbons and the only one to die an infant; all the other children lived to adulthood.

Many thanks,

Ann Sharp

Photos for Farrah # 127900281 Rock Creek Cemetery, DC
I apologize for the poor quality of the photo. I had to fight my way thought an azalea bush to get any photo at all. Perhaps, if it was a different time of day I wouldn't have gotten such a bad reflection. I'll keep it on my radar and see if I can capture another one.
