Are you sure about the name "Johnson"?
I can see that it might have been "Johnston".
Sarah Emma (Johnston) West & George W. West were the parents of Edith (West) Tyler.

Thanks for your note. I corrected the death date, but would you take another look at the photo close up? It sure looks to me like the age is 78, not 75. If so, that would make the year 1821, as listed in the obit.

Sorry, that part I do not know.

I am related to Oakeson. The Martinson maiden name was luck! Let me know if I can help with this move. Thank you.
YES!!! Please send me the obit of James Bone

You have the wrong burial site for Rozella Silver (maiden name Lewandowski). She was buried in St. Stephen's cemetery (next to her husband, Edmund Silver) in Anoka, MN - Anoka County. I have a photo of their headstone. I am her daughter.

I should have caught that there was another memorial, but I didn't look elsewhere since a different cemetery was listed in the obit. I made suggestions for the links to his parents and the sent LF the obit and deleted my memorial. Good catch! Thanks.

Kathy, Thanks so much for your reply.
Yes, I do know Gary Robbins. We connected through Ancestry several years ago. He has been very helpful with my search for information about the Robbins family.
I am curious about the mention of Virgina Lee Robbins as a neice raised by Burr and Pearl Hull Robbins. If Virginia is the daughter of Marie Bea Robbins, wouldn't she be their granddaughter? Where did you get that information? Was Virginia Lee born in Sherman or Valley County?
Last year while researching Loup City newspapers on microfilm, I found a reference that Burr Robbins had
"moved" to Colorado (Feb of 1921) so I was surprised that the obituary said they were in Ord until 1929.
Would you care to communicate through public messages or could we exchange email addresses or phone numbers?

Would you be willing to share your source for the memorials and family information you posted on the Robbins family?
I am most interested in the Bea Marie Robbins Paris and Virginia Lee Robbins information.
As a contributor, do you have access to my email or would a message from you be posted on my Contributor page?
Thank-you for considering my request.
|Karen Todd||Toman - Reed Point Cemetery|
I received a message from the Pastor of the church we visited today in Reed Point. James and Sarah were not members of his church nor were services performed by the church.
I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
