Hi Kathy,

I put up a picture for Fred, memorial# 73787876. Let me know if you don't want it on his memorial and I'll remove it. It is a photo copy from a family book and is not a good picture. I hope to get some real photos when I get to NE, but that may not be for a while.

I don't want you to be stuck with a picture you don't want.

Chas M Williams Jr in Ord Cemetery
There is a child, Chas M Williams Jr. buried near Ferdinand and Bertha Williams. The stone says, 'Chas M Williams, Jr. died June 30, 1929 aged 10y 6 m 26d'
I'm sure that he is part of the family you are currently researching. If you add his memorial site, I will add the picture. Or you could contact me thru my email and I could send you the picture to use, with my permission.

Hekeler William in Ord Cemetery
There is a William Hekeler in the Ord Cemetery buried near Elizabeth and Henry Marks. Born 1879 and died 1957. There is no other info on the stone but if you add the memorial, I will add the photo.

RE: Marks in Hillside Cemetery, North Loup, Valley County, Nebraska
Yes, I took the book, did a spreadsheet, walked the cemetery, took pictures of everything out there, and posted everything I found to findagrave. Deaths in the last year maybe aren't on findagrave but those deaths were a long time ago. If you would like a copy of the spreadsheet please contact me at my email address shown on my bio page.
I'm not saying that there might not be some errors, but neither of these names show up anywhere.

Foths & Cooks
Glad to add the updates for you. I am familiar with the Mira Valley cemetery as some of my husband's relatives are buried there.

Marks in Hillside Cemetery, North Loup, Valley County, Nebraska
You added two memorial sites to the Hillside Cemetery that are not in the original cemetery book. I have walked that cemetery and taken pictures of all stones. They are not in that cemetery, unless it wasn't recorded in the book and they are not marked by tombstones. Could you let me know where you got the information to enter them in this cemetery and perhaps I could do some further research?

Are you related to these folks? We seem to be tracking many of the same people.

RE: Mariah Smith
Thank you Kathy for the tip. I think I will use Culbertson Cemetery-it appears to be the main one.
I was thinking last night you should stay in Texas to photograph cemeteries. I have lots of Brown relatives in Grayson County on my mom's side and I am having trouble finding where they were buried.
Thanks Lorrie

RE: Mariah Smith
Death certificates for Edward & Cora say they were buried in Culbertson Nebraska. So far they haven't been added to the "Culbertson Cemetery" - I am tempted to add them myself but wanted to confirm that this was the correct cemetery.
I have seen other entries in cemeteries based on what the obituary states but.....
