Bio and Links
Bio Photo I enjoy locating "lost" cemeteries and doing complete surveys of them and other local cemeteries. I add as many photos as I possibly can as time permits or whenever I see a photo request. But first I add the person's name and dates so you know where your ancestor is buried. I tend to get involved in the people buried in the cemeteries and try to use my genealogy skills of over 30 years to link those buried to their loved ones. This is done to make it easier for researchers to locate family members.

I am happy to transfer your family and friends to you, as long as they aren't mine too. DO give me a REASON to transfer to you though! I AM A CARETAKER WHO IS ONLY WAITING FOR A FAMILY MEMBER TO CLAIM THEIR LOVED ONE. These graves belong to those who loved them, even if they never met in life.

Find a Grave does not require that I search the entire Find a Grave system globally, only the individual cemeteries in which I am adding to. Please do not move your Burial Unknown or a person from an incorrect cemetery into the correct cemetery based on the information you found from my memorial & then demand that I delete my "duplicate". It is not fair that I spend my time, my gas, my $, hunt down owners of the properties, bee stings, ticks, poison ivy, and even risk to my life (bull in the pasture, scary men, and electrified fence-no snakes so far) to photo gravestones only later to find that an armchair F-A-Ger has placed a name in either an incorrect cemetery or has a burial unknown, finds I have actually found-the-grave, moves theirs to the correct cemetery and then expects me to delete my entry. I WILL TRANSFER my submissions after the incorrect entry is deleted. This way we both get credit and the person who makes the incorrect entry still has a memorial they maintain. I feel this is more than fair. This is in accordance with FAG rules! I refer you to Find A Grave rules: "In regard to duplicates, a memorial with a correct known burial location will always be preferred over an unknown burial location". Thanks for listening to my venting!

Happy hunting!

RE: Henderson
Hello, yesterday I found out the (M) may stand for morgan, during the day someone created a link from george morgan to george dixion.I also found out lettie is in sunset memorial raleigh co.,just not listed on here.My mother said, that was very nice of you to add those records and THANK YOU VERY MUCH ! I may have to visit the henderson cemetery in the saxton area, its posible lelia was buried at home where ever they lived at the time or a small unlisted cemetery (my father is in a unlisted small cemetery rock creek, boone),some how I'll find her,I cant have my great grandmother lost, theres a clerk property record or something somewhere. ;With the cooler air this time of year snakes will be stiff an lay there like a stick till you almost or step on them, especially grewup unattended places. Some hunters have snake chaps you might borrow when you need them. Some people carry a stick 5-6 foot long to poke around in front of them with an knock weeds down with, even steping in a hole can be an emergence alone an no cell signal,be careful out there.Moms sister use to say,Thank You a bushel,an a peck,an a hug around the neck.Thank You ms/mrs.Historianne

worley adkins
Hi I got an edit from you for Azel Worley Adkins. I received this e-mail from a family member: Their suggestion:
I received your message about my memorials for Whorley and Frances Virginia Ewing Adkins being duplicates and I should delete. I'm sorry but I'm not convinces Azel Whorley Adkins is my 2nd g. uncle Whorley Adkins. I have yet to find a record for his that includes the name Azel and a headstone is not enough proof. His Social Security retirement claim states his name is Whorley Adkins, every census record all of his children's birth, marriage and or death records, his death record and marriage record, his obituary and my grandmother's bible all say Whorley Adkins, not Azel Whorley Adkins. To delete my memorials would also break the link I have for one of his children.

Therefore, If you can prove these are the same people then I'm open to any solution that doesn't require me to delete the work I did to write the biographies and break the link to his son Clyde.

I have no clue... Could you and she work on this and let me know what to do. Thank you. Shauna

Re: Lettie Clay Brooks, Find A Grave Memorial# 141592966
This is the right stone and location for Lettie, although from the photo you have posted the cemetery looks quite overgrown now! Lettie was my Great Uncle Harlen's wife and they lived in Eccles. If you check the info on her death certificate you will see it is the same person (although her birthdate is different by two days). I have had the photo in my files for a long time and honestly don't remember when I got it. It may have been one that my parents took for me back in the 1990's when they were searching cemeteries for me.

RE: Mea culpa!
Well I appreciate you making the extra effort looking for him. Something doesn't seem right about his whole ordeal. His mother is buried in Flat Top and his wife is buried in Sunset, so you'd think he would be buried in one of them. I truly appreciate your help.

Sorry I have not gotten to your request as of yet. I am working on my 50th class reunion for the 25th of Sept. After that I will try to get to yours and one stop at Hill Top in Fayette Co.

Good Morning, in response to your email for my photo request, I've been looking at this and see there are two Find A Grave memorials. One at Brammer in Raleigh County which shows a photo that Keith Meadows took - #148308638. I believe this is correct. Keith and I "talk" at times about different family and I can contact him if need be. The other Find A Grave #99644408 created by Pack Family is at Brammer Family Cemetery in Flat Top and I believe this is incorrect. So what do we do? Another problem here. Thanks. Pat
