Bio Photo The human stories and history that can be found in cemeteries have facinated my husband and I for years. We are happy to share this facination with the Find A Grave community. Please contact us if you have any additional information to add to our memorials. Also, please feel free to use our pictures to enhance your family histories. A credit would be nice but not a requirement.

Margaret Laughlin Braidwood Lacelles
I would like to request the transfer of Margaret Lacelles, Find A Grave Memorial# 123153122, to me. She is my first cousin once removed. Thank you for your consideration.

11837999 Eliza A.Davey Carkeek
Hi there! Was curious to know , if you have any more information on this person? I suspect she may be related to a relative of mine: Elizabeth Grace Davis-Oates. (The "Davis" names his been mis-noted as "Davey" & "Davies" on several sources.)

The real rub , is we know one of her sisters married a "Carkeek" , a unique name one must admit , but that sister was named Elmira/Elvira A.Davis. So , I'm wondering if there is crossed information? ( Or possibly just co-incidence. )

Lewis Vidal
Suzy: Thank you for the Lewis Vidal Memorial. I have added some information about his wife and children. Information about their first child Frances was obtained in the Bisbee Daily Review dated March 21, 1906 and the unnamed son from a news story in the Tombstone Daily Prospector dated September 3, 1890. Their son Lewis Edward is well documented. I assume that all these family members are buried in the Concordia Cemetery as payments were made many times after Lewis' death.

RE: Dr.John Humphre Peake
Thank you. I am just so sad that someone would mutilate something as old as this. He is my ggrandfather and took me a long time to find his grave. A cousin lives there and I told her where our grandfather was, she went out, took the headstone home, cleaned I up, and put some kind of dark substance in the lettering, then returned the stone. That is the one you see underneath the one you entered. Just horrible people to do just a thing. thank you for alerting me. Time to contact my cousin again. Hopefully that stuff can be gently removed. we are supposed to one day get a confederate marker, one day!.

Suzy...can you tell me when that picture of his headstone was taken? It is the same as the one underneath, but it has been so badly vandalized, horrible that someone would do such a thing.
