|"Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren".|
"The goal at Find A Grave should not be to manage all of your family members. If you have information to add, you should suggest it to the current manager and they should make the changes."
~Jim Tipton, creator of Find A Grave.
I will gladly transfer within the guidelines and am more than happy to make corrections and additions to those memorials which fall outside of the guidelines. If memorials I've transferred are stripped of the obit or photos, I won't transfer anymore to that person. I do not transfer "all" of any name. Please use virtual cemeteries for the purpose of collecting "all" your relatives.
Please use the edit key for transfers and
changes or corrections.
Photos I take may be used, no need to ask permission, but please give me credit, as FAG photo takers are volunteers who provide their own gas and time to go take photos. Please put "Headstone photo taken by FAG Volunteer, Kathy #47737776" in the description box. Thank you, in advance.

I've uploaded a new picture into Lorraine's memorial #63021265. Is this what you were looking for? Thanks for your concern.

the images were taken under high resolution and I think this is why findagrave rescale forced the images into a landscape form. No matter which way I rotated it findagrave would force it to the wrong direction.
What I did now was open the image into a photo editor program and scaled the vertical to 80%. Then I reloaded to the memorial. This corrected the problem.

findagrave rescales some photos and I was unable to orient a few photos correctly because of it. I tried another method today and found out how I can avoid their rescale from doing this.
Hi, you sent me a question about Harold Lau's father. The Germans had naming patterns that managed to give each child at least four names. It seems like they never used the first name on a daily basis! They also anglicized them over time. I have NO idea why the obit you sent is a different middle name than the one I have on Find A Grave. It may very well depend on who wrote the obituary.

Thank you for the transfer of Dad's memorial. It was very kind of you and I appreciate it very much!

|Margaret J Keefe||John L Keefe|
I am the daughter of John L Keefe buried in St Mary Catholic Cemetery in Fremont, IL. Thank you for posting his burial record. There is a mistake with his death date, however. If you look at the obituary in the record, you will see that his death date should be March 11, 2015 not March 10. I have recently become a member of Find A Grave and am not sure if I can fix it or if you have to as the owner of the original posting. May I ask what prompted you to post him? I have also posted my mother's record and connected them.
