RE: Myer Freedman
What I need are death certificates. When I come back to the USA, I will make time again at the LDS library here. Sometimes, I can find death records there and they tell me a family member's name and the cemetery where the body is interred.
I'm glad you have those records for births and deaths. Do they tell you who the parents are?

RE: Myer Freedman
Thank you for letting me know. I would still like to know when you do see a stone that has Hebrew. Maybe you could put it in the notes section.
With some of my ancestors, I'm having the darndest time figuring out who is who. There are too many with the same names and I have no dates, so I need Hebrew to know who is the son or daughter of whom. Unfortunately, many of my relatives didn't even bother with Hebrew inscriptions.
I wish you a good summer.
I'm off to Israel for a few weeks.
Stay well.
Yours
Ava

RE: James Silver
Maybe they missed it or headstone is no longer there. When I get back out to the cemetery I will look for them

David & Annie Shaffer
hello- I just discovered an entry by you #99519612 David Shaffer-connected to Annie Shaffer I am trying to find more info to confirm for the family tree. First off the headstone marker for Annie says she passed in 1929 at the age of 64, but the text accompanying it says she was 84 ( a typo) that I don't see how to edit. And very importantly I am new to this site and wondering if you are related to the Shaffers and how I can confirm some more background info that I have to see if it matches this Annie & David.

Thanks so much
Julie

RE: Abraham Webber
Actually, I am feeling lousy with a bad cold, and I want to visit so many people here in Israel. I am only here until a week from this thursday. I will not get to the cemetery where my dad is buried to visit his grave. I wanted to go visit some other relatives' graves, too, and I'm not sure what will work out. A cousin's father died this past year and he is buried in Har Hamenuchot in Jerusalem. So I might get there since I'll be in Jerusalem tomorrow until Sunday.
I wish you a wonderful holiday and a happy new year.
All the best.
Ava

Frank W. & Margaret Silver
Hi, I am currently transcribing & adding photos for the Penacook Calvary Cemetery, Penacook, NH. I came across the memorials that you have posted for Frank W. Silver-#76692848 & Margaret Garvey Silver-#76692996 in the Calvary Cemetery, Concord, NH. The headstone is actually in the Penacook Calvary Cemetery. There is a lot of confusion between these two cemeteries when it comes to the death records. If you would move their memorials to the Penacook Calvary Cemetery, I'll add the photos. Thanks, Diane

Madeleine Isenberg
RE: Morris Isenberg
Hi There,
No, I was just going through all the variations of the spellings of the family name. From the point of view of Jewish research, I was looking for men who would be Cohanim -- of the priestly branch. So far I have not found any, other than direct relatives. Sorry, I cannot relieve you of this! Perhaps now with my added info, someone else will find him!
Regards,
Madeleine

RE: Harry Shapiro
Okay, there were several Harry Shapiros living in Boston around the same era. What was the spouses name for this man? This way I can exclude this Harry in my future searches.
