|Kathleen Bond||RE: Bond Family|
Thanks for trying to find possible burial markers for Mary Valine, Annie and Lydia.
As it turns out, Annie is Hilda. Her full name is Annie Hilda L Bond born 1 August 1903, died 6 October 1910. So that would be the Hilda marker you found.
And the Annie E Joy is no relation to the Bond family. She is Annie Elizabeth Joy, daughter to William and Blanche Joy of Hillville, Maryland.
Thanks again! I really appreciate all you went through to help me.

Notice you are the photographer for John Henry, Elizabeth and Hayden Bond buried at Joy Chapel Cemetery, Hollywood, St Mary's, Md in Plot: Section 1, Row D, Grave 4,5 and 6. And I would like to thank you for getting those photos, always nice to be able to see their memorials.
By any chance have you taken photo's for Graves 1, 2 and 3? Trying to figure out where John and Elizabeth's 2 daughters (Mary and Annie) may be and Hayden's 1st wife (Lydia), and wonder if they could be buried next to them.
Thank you for all you do,
Kathleen Bond (related through husband, distant 1st cousin)

May I please use your photos in my family tree with credit to you for the pictures. Thank you.
This would be my great great grandfather. I have him on my family tree as Averitt. Thrilling to see this- thank you very much!

I do believe that this memorial should also be included as a Famous Person on Findagrave. First, though, you might enlarge a bit. From "On The Road With Charles Kuralt," paperback, 1985, pgs. 24-26, there is a write up about him. In part:
"...in 1876, foreign correspondent MacGahan went off to Bulgaria. His reports to the "London Daily News" about Turkish atrocities against the innocent Bulgarians outraged Queen Victoria, galvanized Europe, and forced the reluctant Czar of Russia to send armies across the Danube to free the Bulgarians from the Turks...The towns of any size in Bulgaria have honored him with statutes." A book written about his Bulgarian exploits, "The Liberator of Bulgaria," was written--but in the Bulgarian language.
"A Buckeye [New Lexington, Perry Co., OH] farm boy changed the map of the Balkans...Other exploits: witnessed the fall of the Paris Commune; pursued by the Cosssack across the desert of Central Asia; covered the Carlist revolution in Spain; sailed with an expedition to the Artic; was sentenced to death twice, and twice escaped." End quoted material.
If you could find out who his parents were, and spouse(s) and children were before you entered it as a Famous Person memorial, that would be the icing on the cake. I know you have an on-line write up for people to read, but isn't the above thrilling?
I am working on Reed's in Perry County. I was wondering if the pics you submitted of Jeremiah, Lydia and Jacob are your ancestors? If so were they related in any way? I am actually trying to rule them out so any help would be appreciated.
