I saw your name on this memorial. I am trying to figure out if this was my aunt Janie Rose Carlson. Did you know this Janie?

Your note for John Davenport mentions he was a wogoner. I am writing a book on the 318th Field Hospital, 305th Sanitary Train, 80th Division. A John Davenport was a wagoner for the unit. I am curious as to your source of information. It would help me confirm this is the soldier who was assigned to the unit. Thank you in advance. Thomas

|Neil D Scheidt||Obituaries|
Please consider that obituaries are not private or secure as they are printed in newspapers as a public record. They are obtainable from that newspaper most likely forever. Generally for a fee. Findagrave provides "free" access for the information. Also keep in mind, the family chooses to divulge the information as such with the funeral director. An obituary could help a long-lost family member find a loved one of their family or provide them information to determine their roots.
Thank you for fulfilling my photo request for Minnie Moyer! Greatly appreciated! :)
