Bio and Links
Bio Photo Thank you to everyone who has contributed information and worked to make Find A Grave such a great site. I hope you will find useful at least a bit of information I have provided. The photos I have made and posted are for you to use in your genealogy and family history work, and no credit to me is necessary. If you have any additional information to add to a memorial I will gladly transfer the memorial to you regardless of the relationship as long as it is not my direct line. If you find any errors or duplicates I have made please let me know and I will be glad to make the corrections. I would like to ask that you use the edit tab on the memorial to request transfers or make corrections or add information.

I am native of South Carolina but currently make my home in the mountains of Western North Carolina. I started working on my family history in 1972 and it continues to be a passion of mine today.

Mary Elizabeth Turner Smith
Dora,

I've referenced the parents of Mary E Turner-Smith per your request, but can't link the parents graves without their memorial #'s.

Let me know if you have them as they don't appear to be listed in the same cemetery.

Robert Orr Wigington
Robert Orr Wigington's first wife and mother of most of his children was Mary or Maria Littleton. She must have died shortly after the 1850 Pickens Co. Census was taken. In the 1860 Pickens co. census he was married to Angelina Lusk. Would Maria (Littleton) Wigington be buried in the same cemetery as Robert and Angelina. I have been unable to find where she was buried and wondered if she might have a stone in that cemetery. Thank you so much for what you do for Find a Grave...Janet White

Nancy Mataldie DAVIS Tracy HELP
Hello Dora,
You submitted a grave for my ggggrandmother. There is some discrepranices on what her last name was which has lead to a dead-end on finding her parents or possible sibilings.

You listed her name as: Nancy Mataldie DAVIS Tracy. Do you by chance have a photo of her gravestone to verify this?

Some researching her line have listed her name as: Nancy Tilda Robertson.

If you have access to this info or live near Wesley Chapel to verify, I would deeply appreciate any help.

Thank you! Thank you!!

RE: Photos, Union, SC
Hello Dora,
Thank you for your kind comments. I enjoy what I do and I hope it shows. I would like to thank you for all of the updates that you have sent me for the memorials that I manage. I try to be thorough but I can't find it all. The info that you send me has been so accurate that I don't even research it anymore. Thank you for all of your hard and exacting work.

Jesse C. Nance
Dora, You sent a request that I connect Jesse C. Nance with his "father", Andrew Nance. I did connect Jesse with his father, but he was actually Thomas Nance. This family appeared to like the name, Jesse, as there are at least three within the immediate family. Jesse Nance (1831-1903) is my line. He names a son Jesse (1863-1935). The senior Jesse has a brother, Andrew, who also names a son Jesse (b. ca 1852). To unravel all this, I had to find several wills where Jesse, Sr. is named by his sister, Martha Matilda, as her brother. Martha Matilda and Andrew were the only children named by there father, Thomas, in his will. At least two other children were under age at the time of the will. Hope this helps! Linda
