Thank you to everyone who has contributed information and worked to make Find A Grave such a great site. I hope you will find useful at least a bit of information I have provided. The photos I have made and posted are for you to use in your genealogy and family history work, and no credit to me is necessary. If you have any additional information to add to a memorial I will gladly transfer the memorial to you regardless of the relationship as long as it is not my direct line. If you find any errors or duplicates I have made please let me know and I will be glad to make the corrections. I would like to ask that you use the edit tab on the memorial to request transfers or make corrections or add information.
I am native of South Carolina but currently make my home in the mountains of Western North Carolina. I started working on my family history in 1972 and it continues to be a passion of mine today.
Maggie Holden edit info. Please forgive the first message, my hand slipped and I must have press "Leave a Message" before I was threw writing the message. I wanted to let you know I added Maggie Holden's parents to her memorial. Thanks for the information. I also wanted to ask if you were by any chance kin to the Holden Family in Oconee and Pickens County, SC.? I have seen where you left flowers for some of them. Again thanks, Wanda Darnell
J.F. Hawkins - Hawkins Cemetery, SC I believe he was my great great grandfather. His son was William Joe Paris Hawkins from Greenville, SC who was born in 1959 according to his death certificate and 1860 on his grave stone. All I know about my great great grandfather is my grandfather said his name was Joe Hawkins and was killed in war. The Civil War would have been in the correct time for his age. I am trying to find more information on him to determine if he was my ancestor. Would you have any other details that could help me? Barbara Marie Hawkins O'Connell
