vonBuchwald family grave
For Eugene Steakhouse or anyone who knows of this grave and photograph. William C. von Buchwald was my great grandfather. I am interested in your research and the photograph you have posted of him.

Thank you!

Elizabeth Poet
Thank You for the write up concerning Elizabeth Poet Schoenenfelt. I have just discovered this family line and was thrilled to learn I am her 8th Great Grand Daughter. I have linked my tree to this post and given you credit for the information. I am still new at all of the research.

RE: Philanthropic Cem.
Thank you for responding. I found out that the remains that were not claimed were reintered in the Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill Pa. The area has just one monument to commerate all those there.

Philadelphia National Cemetery forum thread
I confess I am the guy who prompted this latest spate of Longshore prohto requests. I'm trying to weed the more problematic requests from the Philadelphia National Cemetery photo request list, and fix them, if possible, so they don't come back. I started a forum thread to talk about what we might do about them. Some of the mysteries are more solvable than others. Follow along or join in!
