Bio

I have been doing family research since the late 1970's. I have been associated with the Jefferson County (KS) Genealogical Society, being the organizing President and since served in that capacity two more times. I live in Winchester, Kansas. I lost my wife, Marie, March 18, 2018, after almost 66 years of married life. We have four living children, 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. My family research interests are many, but especially Riley, Nettleton, Curry and Fulton. We have many ancestors buried in Atchison and Jefferson Counties, Kansas. In addition, I have served the United Methodist Church as organist for the past 60 years and have served the Winchester and Jefferson County North Schools as sports statistician for over 65 years. I was the Director of the Winchester Public Library at the time the present building was constructed in 2002.

Please contact me if you find a direct relative's memorial I manage, and would like to have the memorial transferred. Please include your Find a Grave ID # with any requests. If you find any errors or wish to have me add additional information to a memorial, please let me know.
