I have been interested in my family genealogy since my teens but, unfortunately, waited to begin my research in earnest until many of my aunts, uncles & others had already passed. This was youthful oversight and one of the biggest drawbacks of being the youngest son of the youngest son.

While my research started with that of my paternal line, it quickly became apparent to me that my own children had ancestors from 4 family lines. I try to gather what ever information I can on all of their lines – no easy task. My active research is on the following surnames: Rusinko, Vidumski, Paluch, McCaslin, Tubbs, Houghtailing. Most if not all hail from various parts of Pennsylvania.

On occasion, I have tried to document some that are outside my family lines. Sometimes in my travels, I have tried to locate cemeteries that are often well off the beaten path and gather some initial information on them. If any corrections or updates are needed, I would be most happy to do so. Also, if I have ownership of any memorial not in my family lines, I would be happy to relinquish that ownership as well.

Update - August 2023. Due to health issues, it has become harder for me to get around. I must reluctantly stop doing most/all photo requests.

Wood Badge. It's a scouting thing.
