Bio and Links
Bio Photo We have learned that walking the cemeteries and taking photos are more accurate for adding data

I am happy to transfer if they are family. P,ease use edit tab for changes.

Four years ago we started using Find a Grave and just was out there looking for relatives. It is not a numbers game for me. It found us roaming around in cemeteries trying to locate my ancestors. We have been doing many memorials of people in many cemeteries. If you see someone that is your relative please ask for a transfer. We mostly have been in cemeteries in Webster Co, Hopkins Co Ky Recently we have been doing many Posey Co Indiana Cemeteries. I hope we can make a difference for people interested in locating their family. We long ago decided that inputting names from a book from libraries or other sources are subject to inaccuracy. You have to do the actual walking in the cemeteries to confirm dates and names and families. We take managing memorials seriously. If you want the memorials, you tacitly accept the responsibility of editing them.

My family lines are Foster , Egloff. Sanders
Lively ,Maag Huskey ,Cobb and Cates.

Thanks to my husband Milton Yuan for developing my family genealogy website I want to share the link with you It will link my family and ancestors and added pictures that have been collected and shared with anyone interested in the Foster/Egloff/Lively/Maag family

In the event that i am unable to continue to manage my memorials. I want my husband will manage my memorials.
Milton Yuan.

RE: Norris
Check the obituary on Charles' memorial. It lists all of the children.
I LOVE Find A Grave!
Best wishes!

Charles Norris family
I just loaded the photos of Charles Norris' family. The people in that plot include:
Charles Norris
Medora (Smith) Norris (his wife)
Eliza Smith (Medora's mother)
Abigail "Abbie" (Dow) Norris (Charles' mother)
There is also a Samuel Sugars buried in this plot. ?!

RE: Norris Family in Saginaw
I've added the photos of the Alfred Norris family in Section 13 - Lot 78. I try to link family members when I can and add info that I come across. I just didn't know how Winifred fit into the family. Her headstone says 'Daughter'.
There is a headstone for James Bourdow in their family section also. Do you know how he fits in?
Just curious...
I'm sorry I couldn't clean the headstones a little better. That lot is somewhat flooded with water and I was unable to get much closer to the headstones themselves.
I have photos of the Charles and Medora Norris family also, just haven't had the chance to add them yet. Their family marker is unusual and I like it very much!

Norris Family in Saginaw
Hello Linda,

I found a Winifred (Norris) Moody who was born in 1915. She is buried in the Alfred W Norris Sr. family plot, but I can't determine whose daughter she is. Any ideas?
Her memorial is Find A Grave Memorial# 38930241

Vincennes City Cemetery
Thanks you for working on getting this mess corrected! I pointed this out to Progbase and J Tipton about 4 years ago. The response I got was "oh, the old cemetery within a cemetery again". Like another member, I spent a lot of time entering my relatives in the correct cemetery, then this confusion. Like you this is not my local cemetery, (900 miles distant) I appreciate the work that everyone has done.

Vincennes cemeteries
No only did someone put everyone in one cemetery, the death dates on 9 out of 10 are wrong and as I result, I have duplicated lots of them along with family links and family information obtained thru personal research and obituary information. A lot of work no one will see since I have had to delete them per Find A Grave guidelines.

Thanks, Linda. He really should 'clean up his act'! There' no place for rudeness. If he continues, I will report him. Thanks for all you have done and continue to do for Find A Grave. You have helped countless genealogists with your volunteering. You are appreciated!

Linda, Im sorry I have no information on your ggrandfather.

I remember the day well. I just happened to come across Antioch cemetery on my way back from Henderson. The day I was there, the entire cemetery was extremely over grown with weeds. It clearly has not been maintained. Normally, I try to photo entire cemeteries, however the overgrowth prevented me from doing this. Many of the markers were either fallen, or knocked over laying face down. I tried to upright as many as I could, but was unsuccessful due to personal injuries. I did walk away with many photos and the realization there are still many there that are not recorded, nor have been photographed.

Hope this info helps and I wish you luck in finding the marker of your loved ancestor.
