Bio and Links
Bio Photo Found findagrave when I was doing some internet research on a old family grave site located on our youth camp property. We then took pictures of all the grave sites in the cemetery, added pictures to the memorials that were already created and ended up creating almost a dozen more. From there we decided to document the dozen or so small family cemeteries located in our 20 mile long Appalachian valley that we live in. Enjoying getting to know the history and people of our area.

If I created a memorial for one of your relatives, just let me know and we will transfer. Love answering photo requests, especially in other area cemeteries that haven't been photographed. A

RE: S. S. Price
Thank you for your help, I edited the one i already had with the correct information. and deleted the one you transferred simply because that was much easier with all the links and data i had on mine, I appreciate you letting me know, I did not realize that there are two named Mount Zion. I also appreciate your response on the coy cemetery question. I wonder where it is located exactly i am set to visit family later in the summer and may be able to find it myself. I have the death certificate for William saying that is where he is buried, his daughter bessie as well, but i have not found death info for his wife my 2x great grandmother and that is something i was hoping to find. I really appreciate all you do and all your help.

Croy Cemetary
I have record of my 2x great grandfather being buried here but cannot find him on the list of those buried here. Are there unreadable grave stones? He is William Henry Scott, birth in 1850-1923. His wife was Sarah E. Epling and i cannot find any record of her death but would believe they are buried together. I wonder if you have seen an evidence there of their burial. If yes it would mean alot to me. As you know our ancestors are our roots, I also have a rare photo of them both i would like to post on a findagrave site so that other members of the family do not forget from where we came. I appreciate any help or information you can provide.

Thank you

RE: 155262525 Samuel George
I didn't answer your last message because I didn't know that you had sent one.

Samuel's death certificate states he is black and is buried in the Horseshoe Cemetery in Pembroke, Giles County. He is listed as a farmhand. Son of Woodson and Isabelle, husband of Nannie. Died from accidental burns when his house burned and he didn't make it out. The informant was James Chapman.

I see that you have taken a lot of photos of graves in Giles County. My husband and I just went out today to find some that had photo request and the weeds are overgrown in two of the three that we visited. What time of year did you go?
