Found findagrave when I was doing some internet research on a old family grave site located on our youth camp property. We then took pictures of all the grave sites in the cemetery, added pictures to the memorials that were already created and ended up creating almost a dozen more. From there we decided to document the dozen or so small family cemeteries located in our 20 mile long Appalachian valley that we live in. Enjoying getting to know the history and people of our area.|
If I created a memorial for one of your relatives, just let me know and we will transfer. Love answering photo requests, especially in other area cemeteries that haven't been photographed. A

Hi Roy Glass,
I connect to Nimrod Brown. Between your stone pic and some descendents pics of same, we are all still left with NO IDEA where in the Appalachian Valley it is. But, I'm extremely grateful and a little greedy.
Could you check your smartphone when you take these pics and ADD THE GPS COORDINATES. That way, we will all know FOREVER where that stone is.
For fun, I should tell you I'm doing a file that lead to Nimrod for a fellow that will turn 100 on Nov 24, 2014. His daughter (and maybe he and his 98 year old wife) and I will want to drive to this stone June 14th 2014 (the day before fathers day). They are in perfect health, no walkers or wheelchairs. He has a little seeing and hearing impairment, Paul and Myrtle Bowman, PA.

Hi Roy I am told that Jacob Allen Albert (1757-1856)is buried with his 2nd wife Elizabeth Williams in a cemetery between Hoges Chapel and Mt. Lake in what was Doe Mt. Farm in Giles County. My research says it is off Rt 613 (from 460 Blacksburg)just before Hoges Chapel. You go 1/4 miles on 613 to 615 about a mile and 615 road ends at the former J. Pleasant Webb Home, (directions are very old)Google earth show the road continuing... It is behind the house on a slope These directions are from a family researching the DAR. It was typewritten from script and they mistook 1's for 7's and so I could never pinpoint it until recently. I was looking for an intersection of 673 & 565 instead of 613 & 615 Do you know it?
another older directions say follow 613 (Doe Creek Road)to end which is now called Doe Creek farm and it is behind that house... I would really appreciate it if you can tell me if it is on FindaGrave or uncharted. Thank You so much for all your work!

Thanks for the notice. I believe I used the date of Nov.16 from the Newspaper date on the copy of the obituary I have. The picture was added later.
