Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been photographing cemeteries for several years now all over the State of Texas. I am very proud of my southern heritage and proud to be a member of DAR and UDC.

I have been doing genealogy research for over 20 years and love every minute of it. I have roots from all over the deep south including South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Florida and Texas. I have over 30 confederate ancestors that I have been able to document so far. I have organized several gravemarker dedication ceremonies with the help of the UDC and SCV and placed 6 civil war markers in Texas, Alabama and Florida.

Donna Loftins' obit
What a surprise. Are you related to the Loftins'. I just did a photo for you down here is the Tombal area. Anyway, my wife is related to Donnas' husband George Gilbert Loftin. Thank you for the obit. I have included it.

No, I am dropping the issue. It would be in poor taste and very insensitive to bother his wife.
Thank you for all your work.

RE: J. R. Green
I would like to have his memorial transferred to me. I talked to his sister and she wants me to maintain his memorial. If you don't mind would you please transfer it to Margie Moore #48008593. His memorial number is #148152382.

Thank you for all you do.

Can you please transfer # 19300310 to me? He is my 3rd great grandfather and I would like to add more information about his life to his memorial. Thank you.

Hi, Thanks for un-linking Anna from the DeBerry parents. This Anna's, wife of Weyman Taliaferro, maiden name was WHITE - do you not wish to add that? Thanks again for your help with this memorial. Bobbye Varner

Flewellen family ~
Hello Vanessa. Having researched this family, I'm certain that THIS Virginia Ketchum Flewellen (today shown as burial "unknown") is the same person as THIS Virginia Ketchum Sherer at Oakland Cemetery. The smoking gun is that Virginia Sherer's death certificate list her mother as Sallie Williams Ketchum, and this Sallie W. Ketchum was living with John & Virginia Flewellen in 1900. No offense, not my concern, just pointing it out for you to ponder a remedy with Sandra. Rich.

Find A Grave Memorial# 138218949
Hi Vanessa - I don't think that the Pete Walkoviak listed under Find A Grave Memorial# 138218949 was the son of Thomas and Katherine Walkoviak. I can find no records that he (born in 1904) was their son. Their first children in the 1910 census were
Sally (Cecilia) and Lucy. Monica Uilkie Weaver

Thank you for bringing to my attention the correct Civil War records. Mike did not add the bottom photo at the time I made the record. Looks to me like Find A Grave could find a way to notify us when a photo is added.

Please remove the photo copy of his pension record. The only things allowed in the photo section are photo's of the person, the grave and death certificate. Refer to your Contributor Tools, under the FAQ.

Many thanks,
