PLEASE INCLUDE ALL NECESSARY INFORMATION IF YOU WANT A MEMORIAL TRANSFERRED! Especially your identification number!

Both grandmothers and my mother shared an interest in genealogy with me. The internet age opened up so many different ways to explore family connections and I'm enjoying every new option I've discovered so far.

I am a recently retired American Baptist pastor. I grew up in and now own the house built by my 5th Great-grandfather, David Foote in 1807. I love being in the midst of the communities where nine generations of my ancestors have lived and died - on both sides of Lake Champlain.

Find A Grave seems like my best option for giving back a little bit in return for all the information I've found using other people's work. Plus...I've always loved walking in old cemeteries anyway!

If anyone wishes to take over the care of any of the Memorials I've added, please let me know. I'll be glad to pass over memorials of non-family members.

I try hard to include accurate information in the memorials I've entered...however, occasionally I've made some blunders. I'm happy to make changes if you have better information than I have!

I am most interested in my family names of: Payne/Paine, Bingham, Dana, Foote, Weston, Goodspeed, Palmer, Pond, Hunt, Lucia/Lussier/L'Huissier, Lee, Huestis & Gove...and Blood...and Gale...and Purinton...

For my own info: As of September 13, 2013 I've added this number of each surname (not all necessarily related to me):

New numbers as of July 1, 2019 (in parenthesis):

Payne/Paine - 446 (513)
Bingham - 270 (381)
Palmer - 395 (467)
Foot/e - 226 (250)
Pond - 166 (196)
Weston - 147 (159)
Gove - 143 (241)
Goodspeed - 120 (127)
Hunt - 109 (153)
Gale - 108 (131)
Lee - 104 (135)
