If you find an error on one of my memorials please contact me so I can correct it. I won't take offense.

While most of my memorials are for relatives, close and distant, some are for others I happened upon and added to help their relatives find them.
I will gladly transfer management of memorials to closer family members and appreciate the same in return.

I follow military protocol in use of military rank. This is, if a person died or retired in uniform, they will be identified by their military rank (Pvt, Lt, etc.) Others who served, voluntarily or not, who were separated from service at the end of their enlistment, will not be identified by their rank. This is not to demean their service. This is military protocol.

Keep in mind that these memorials are created in honor of those who have passed. Please don't make them about you. I have added published obituaries when available, as these were the way their loved ones wanted them to be remembered. Deciding what to include is a 'who lives, who dies, who tells your story' issue, as Lin-Manuel Miranda put it in Hamilton.

Use of Photographs: Permission of non-commercial use of my family photographs is granted. I do not give permission for family photographs to be used commercially under any circumstances. (yes, you can put them an your family genealogy site, no you cannot use them in a magazine, on-line commercial, or sell them to anyone.)
