Retired U.S. Air Force and Alaska Air National Guard Senior NCO, Security Forces Manager and Superintendent with over 31 years service. Currently working as a security contractor on the Alyeska Pipeline.
"Marauder" is the name of the medium bomber my father flew on as bombardier during World War II, the Martin, B-26 Marauder. He flew 48 combat missions and survived a belly landing in a B-17 during initial training; a take-off accident, front landing gear collapse on to the nose of the aircraft; and a mid-air collision where the prop of another B-26 sliced the wing of his aircraft.
