I'm especially looking for any information about Peter Bowman (Bauman) who lived in Pennsylvania and married Christina Fagley/Fegley (Voegle) in Berks County PA. and had 14 children the youngest being Major Reuben Bowman born July 4,1806. They moved to Fairfield County, Ohio, about 1816. I haven't been able to find the names of the other children or trace any further back. Reuben married Sarah "Harriet" Bradley in Fairfield County, Ohio. They had 11 chidren. Reuben and Sarah's family moved to Monticello, Piatt County, Illinois about 1852.

We joined a DNA Project to try and find out more about our Bowman ancestors. We are Kit# 23256. So far we have had no matches to our DNA. The link to the Bowman Family DNA Project is below my email address. If you are a Bowman or know a Bowman male check it out.
